Diplomatic Exchange - Round One
Adjo nodded in acknowledgement of all the Greek Sphinxes who had stepped forward to try for the position of Diplomat. They all seemed like a very likely group, any of which would do their nation proud. He gestured to a nearby scribe, who began to pass out rolls of parchment and writing utensils to everyone.
"Though you will certainly be able to learn and pick up the finer details of our system of writing while you are in Khemet, it is important that you have at least a rudimentary grasp of our system of hieroglyphics as a foundation to build on. I would ask each of you to demonstrate your knowledge by writing your names down here using our hieroglyphic symbols."

Okay, gang, this is going to be a writing/drawing contest! As Adjo said, you will need to write your Sphinxes name using hieroglyphics and post your entries to this thread. You may feel free to use either a digital paint program to do this (do not copy/paste the characters from the key, you need to draw with a mouse or tablet pen), or hand write and then take a photograph of your submission to post.
Because there are several different variations between keys you can find online, I'd like for everyone will need to use this specific one for their hieroglyphic writing so everybody is on the same page: Egyptian Hieroglyphs
At the top of your entry post, please put your applying Sphinxes' name in Bold. Deadline for entries is 8:31pm CDT/1:31am UTC June 6. That's essentially ten hours from the time of this post!
Only three Sphinxes in each group will get to move on after this round. If there are more than three correct entries, then all entrants will be put into random to see who gets to advance.
