"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Shiklah." Julian replied and then chuckled and smiled, shaking his head a little. "It's fine, nothing to fret over. I'm used to it" he said to Riona as he padded closer to Aldric and put a paw on his shoulder. "This one is just having a rough go of things right now so he's kind of grumpy."
Aldric huffed and said nothing.

" Not all of us can be sunshine and rainbows all the time " huffed out Riona as she cast an empathetic look towards Aldric. She understood how he felt, if not the why behind it. Enjoying her own privacy she decided not to pry, unless he himself decided to open up about matters. Shiklah idly pushed an errant lock of hair from her face, her idea to pry stopped by RIona stepping on her paw. " Ah, so hoping a change in scenery will help him change his mood eh? " she remarked to julian.

"I was indeed hoping that some fresh air would help soothe him, but he seems too rattled for that to work." Julian said with a frown and flicked his tail. Aldric shrugged and shook his head to imply that it wasn't his fault.
The wolf sphinx sat in the grass with a huff.

Shiklah tsked slightly upon hearing that " oh my, seems like quite the problem then. Since I find that usually a bit of a change can help to smooth things over.. " The tip of her own tail flicked and swept through the air emphasizing her points. Riona glanced at Aldric " Sorry that these two are rather.. unhelpful.."

Julian sighed at the comment but he didn't argue the point made. He wasn't helping it was true.
Aldric gave Riona a half smile and shrugged a bit, "It is fine." He rumbled out and swished his tail. "The situation i find myself in is just a bit complicated so perhaps now is not the best time to share such a heavy tale."
"What he means is i dont feel like talking about my woes." Julian coughed and gave Aldric a smile in return for the burning glower the wolf gave the mage.
"Whoops, made him mad." Julian laughed nervously.

Shiklah shrugged idly " ah well, perhaps we can do something that would help take his mind off of it. " She was actually doing good by not trying to shove her nose into the issue. She was definitely curious just what had the black furred wolf sphinx in such a snit. Riona snorted " who exactly likes to talk about their problems? "

Aldric snorted at Shiklah but did not seem offended at all. Instead, he watched and observed quietly as Julian handled the social part of this encounter for now.
Julian chuckled a bit and shook his head. "It's fine, nothing to worry over. I've met far worse." then he nodded to Shiklah, not forgetting her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Shiklah. My friend here is Aldric. He's a bit gruff, but he's not so bad once you get to know him." He winked at Aldric who gave a solitary wag of his tail and smiled slightly at his friend.
