It's been asked for, so here is a thread for some pre-Heb chatting. ^_^
Let people know what you've been up to. List some hopes for the Heb this year. Just talk about how your day is going. You know, just some chatting. ^_^
The main thing happening with us (well, for me since I'm obsessed) has been our offline RP. I could go on and on about it, but I doubt that people really care for a ton of details. But it has been going on since last summer (late summer/early fall? I've had pictures drawn since August.) and we just finished Chapter one!! Lots and lots of roleplaying happened though in comparison to actual action/dice rolling, which is just the way I like it. ^_^
Mostly it's been based around many of the missing children from our home RP. Some have been sphinxified years ago, like Alexia and Karen's son Alek, and Phae/Kezzer's daughter Mayolin, and a TON of NPCs. Like... a TON! With how many NPCs have joined the gang, and with how many I've brought in myself, we're up to over 40 characters in the gang alone! There are so many characters that sub groups in the gang have formed. How they became a gang (instead of the usual 'party') was that they were receiving anti-gang pamphlets from their school, and Zeb (Talalara and Kezzer's son) did a head count and jokingly said how there were so many of them that they were already a gang! It started out as a joke, but did develop into a delinquent gang.
Anyhow, if people actually want details I can go into it, but it has been tons and tons of fun. Hubby runs such amazing RPs.

Someone hit the pause button on my OCD! o.o
Merf. Well today its sunny for the first time in forever (and ~15^C...no jacket weather if you are int he sun). So I spent a few hours gardening...when I was only supposed to be out there for 20 minutes. Whoops! Its still not cleaned out either...this is going ot take a few days at least.
Spring bulbs are starting to come out and flower though^^ Well..the ones that the critters didn't nom on. Crocuses are out, the tiny white (not lilly of the valley but similar) are starting to show their green buds.
And the Grackles say HI! and 'YOU! HOOMAN! MY NESTING ZONE, buzz OFF! I are big scwary bird looking down on joo!' Heh.
Otherwise ive had the itch to draw here and there..though my anatomy is in a bit of a stumble. I need to find a bit of time between organizing and tracking emails down to try to draw. And relax! (Ha.ha...hahahahaha>>)
Its weirdly 'small' things that are causing me to spazz out too..like, I am DIY and wanted to personally decorate...but the ceremony is at 1, its..mmm...25 minutes-ish away, and ill be at home getting ready. And they don't allow set up until 10am that day.
Cant ask any of the girls...I ended up asking my very confused brother..maybe I can do a dry run, take pictures and get them to copy what they see. I...
Are the other brides going through the same crazy? Or is it just me? o.o

*flops into thread* Uuuuuggggh....my day was CRAZY at work. Yup...I said the 'W' word. I finally found a job after 6 years of looking. Welcome to Wendy's. I'm on register, either front or back....been in back for all last week and today. While I like the first drive thru window because all I do is collect payment and give payment, BUT I also have to make sure dishes get done, fetch buns/tortilla wraps/bacon/whatever else they call for and that tires me the frick out if I'm in that position all shift. Of course my pay goes to help mom with some of the bills, so...yea...I can't attach it to my paypal. I do enjoy being on morning shift though, I'm fine working 10a to 4p. It gets me out of the house and away from mom for a few hours.
Anyway....YAY HEB!!! I can't wait to see what comes! I can't wait to see the kitties!! I can't wait to join in where I can when I get home from work. Of course I know I'll miss things that happen in the morning/afternoon, but...ah well.

Me well, life has been life. Been through a lot since Dec. But most of it has been a little sad so I don't want to go into it too much. Don't want to make too much sadness. But to say things have been an emotional roller coaster is an Understatement. I am so ready for something happy and Distracting
Also, Dennu can't wait to Crash...er....make an appearance.... er.... enjoy the Heb this year.
I so can't wait to see what fun you all have planned for this heb. I cna't wait to collect the kitties. Can't wait to see the new things. Can't wait to see if there is any new pets. I so so so have my fingers crossed for a Turtle or crocodile or even a frog. lol.
Also and this is only because I am obsessed, I can't wait to see what little cuties come from Beltane. I always so love participating in Beltane.
I also hope to see a Sphinxes trading place set up. As I love seeing if something someone else has can inspire me.
I also have 2 characters I hope to some day get as Sphinxes. As they are super important/special to me. Unfortunately one would so be a CP and I am not entirely sure how to get her done. >.< but I will dream. very much dream.
Okay now that that is done. waves and offers tasty watermelon to any that wants some.

ahem, as to what I've been up to.. allot of work at the humane society where I volunteer almost every day, and doing allot of non sphinx rp, mostly some Marvel stuff, but I have a long running original character one with Ophelia that has quite some interesting characters of ours in it. Hopes for heb.. getting even more sphinxes, maybe even more customs, seeing the new cats for my priestesses, and maybe a trade thing so I can nudge my one wizard who's not really working out into a new pack/pride
oh and right now I'm anxiously awaiting Avengers Endgame while cuddling my Tony Stark sphinx

Noms on tasty ham & potato soup. I made it home made for dinner and may or may not have scarfed down three bowls >.> I also shared some with the moophles <3 life has been life, tons of ups and downs since last heb. Two of our pets had some rather scary health issues and my hubby is currently going through some health issues too. Im looking for another job >.> to help unswamp us. Ive been crafting whenever I have the time  Im glad everyone has been doing fairly well and *hugs* to all who have been have a rough time. I just can't wait for heb things to start, so excited. Heb is the highlight of the year XD |

So Retta and I became great aunts in June, and our darling little great niece Lenore is a cute mess. She has some health problems, but she's such a HAPPY baby. It's ridiculous! Mom broke her ankle the day after Lenore was born, so we dealt with that over the summer as well. We weren't able to go to Japan this year as we were busy saving for a new vehicle which we ended up buying in December. My younger niece and her husband came for the holiday and brought the baby with them. It was fun to have them stay at our house to some degree, but I was also happy to have our space back when they left. Found out at the beginning of this year that my older niece is pregnant as well. She found out it's a little boy and Elijah is due to enter the world in mid to late September. My oldest nephew just came back from a tour in Jordan with the Air Force. His younger brother is currently in basic training. He graduated high school last May. Lately most of our time is being eaten by our Nintendo Switch that we bought with our Christmas money. We play it almost every day. I have Let's Go Eevee if anyone needs pokemon trades. |

*waves tiredly* Looks like everyone has been busy busy busy... so have I, haha. Had to move because of health and money reasons but I'm still fighting and around. Trying to craft what I can, been working on and off on this dragon/fantasy au Kirishima costume from My Hero Academia, sewing a gift for the DJ Feed Me, getting back in to school... oh I got my first tattoo finally, which I'm very happy about! But overall I've mostly been working, surviving, playing Minecraft, old school Runescape, and Baba is You when I'm not doing class or art stuff. Tattoo/costume pics under the cut: |

For an update of what Sang and i have been up to...
We had a year of firsts. Partly because we just celebrated our 1 year anniversary this past march. We have raised one grey cat who promptly escaped this early spring. He was just determined to be free. We call him Deathclaw due to his habit of stomping while hissing. We tried to rescue a kitten who apparently had been abandoned far too young, but she had mostly starved before we got her. All we can say is she passed in comfort and well-loved at least. We got a strong feeling as she passed that she belonged to a family member of ours who had already passed on.
So its been very happy with a bit of sadness.
Looking forward to the Heb for certain

*tucks a pillow under a faceplanted Toxi* We just got crocuses too MA! (even though we've still got chest deep snow on the lawn and beside the house... they are determined!) Also, I'll see your grackles and raise you these! ...this was from just a couple blocks away and you can still see the snow too, (-8 Congrats on the job Angel! My sister worked at a Wendys.... a long time ago. I'm happy to see your hard work searching paying off, (-8 *takes a hug and a slice of watermelon from Aholland* Hummmm, a trading thread might be a good idea if I find myself with some spare time between games, (-8 I've been meaning to get to that! I'm also waiting to see the latest Avengers, (-8 sooo many interesting possibilities going forward! (especially after buy fox's marvel stuff back...) I've been on a totally superhero movie/show binge lately too, catching up on the good marvel and DC shows (though we've dropped a few that have gotten pretty bad...) The best Hero show we've watched lately was neither of the big two though. We just finished watching season two of the TICK and it as soooooo wonderful, (-8 wow I love the Tick, (-8 ...we even got a 'SPPOOOOOOOONNNNN' at right at the end.... so happy, (-8 I love ham and potato soup! and your crafts are lovely, especially that frog, how adorable! (-8 Good luck on the job hunt and I hope your hubby is doing better... Here's hoping that some good Heb energies start to clear up some of the darker and scarier RL stuff from the last year for everyone! I think I need to get Pooka a Switch as well Rasa! We've been doing so much RP with Pokemon in it (there are two and a half poketrainers in the Anime game and the last part of the game's cliffhanger was partially based around fighting through the Sega2 arcade in our fictional Tokyo... I feel like I've been RPing strait up video games for a couple of weeks here, (-8 and super cool costume Hybrid! that looks awesome! Runic is a super escape artist here Phoenix... I've had to jury rig and board up virtually every tiny little thing around her so he doesn't get out. Its not like he's trying to get away (the last times he got out, he just stayed under the house mewing to get back in) but we've got to many things around here that wouldn't mind a kitty for a snack I get worried about him! ...but I think I've managed to get rid of any of his possible escape spots and he hasn't gotten out in a good while now, (-8 |
