Okay before I start I want to remind everyone that this weekend is Mother's Day! And I love my Mother!
But she had me up at 6am to be on the road by 6:30am, to go shopping for bedding plants!!!! She stops at every nursery and garden centre within a 50 mile radius! She also slows down in traffic to admire residential gardens! I finally made her pull over so that I could take over the wheel. We made it home safe and sound with bags of black soil, triple mix, manure, worm castings, compressed bricks of coconut coir and mulch. 6 flats of annuals and a large tray of various herbs! Oh and let's not forget the packets of seeds that she scoured, rummaged through. And of course she had to read each and every packet. She's wants a butterfly, hummingbird, bee garden this year! I think I'm going to make a sign to put in the car rear window ... crazy gardener on board.
But I Love My Mother!
Remember it's Mother's Day this weekend here in Canada! I'm not sure about the rest of the world?

I believe it will be here in the US as well. We gave mom hers early as we were afraid of losing it
