Oh yes, that's annoying. Went to a movie with mom and a friend of hers from agility class. Her friend's daughter came as well and said friend was on her phone pretty much the entire time. I ignored it well enough as I was more focused on the movie. Then we all went out to dinner and my mom's friend's husband and step-son joined us. Those two had seen a different movie. Well during dinner, again her daughter was on her phone throughout dinner. Wow...so annoying. I wanted to talk with her, but she pretty much didn't hear what I said when I started, so I just didn't bother talking to her, I talked with the...ahem...grown ups of the table.
