Moving is both exciting and daunting, and I should know. I've moved something like 23 times! It can be really daunting if you've been in your current place for a long time. You don't realize how much things accumulate over time!  We used to move around a lot when I was a kid but we've been in this place for 16 years... sooooo much stuff! I feel ready to leave most of it behind though... I feel like I can't look anywhere! Youtube titles, my Deviant Art inbox, even just google news! spoiler traps everywhere! *sends a happy plumbob* *ponders if swivel chairs are appropriate viewing for all...* I'll allow it! (-8 |

We used to move around a lot when I was a kid but we've been in this place for 16 years... sooooo much stuff! I feel ready to leave most of it behind though... It always amazes me when I go to move and all I can think is, "Yep, don't need that anymore!" or "Why did I have this to begin with?". There's really something to be said for minimalist living. |

I've never tried that yet really, but its looking better and better! I get to easily attached to things and the memories of things. I have this ugly old burned, beaten and scared old kettle that just started to leak a couple of months ago and I still haven't thrown it out... but I bought it when I was a teen and its been through over 20 years of adventures! It's boiled water on distant mountain tops, provided tea on snowy mornings at home and in the wilderness, I remember when I used to have to clean it out when we lived down south because of all the minerals in the water but was amazed when it never got dirty living up north... Its garbage now I guess, but its just so darn familiar!
