I absolutely have to mow my yard today, but the heat index is currently 99. I'll have to wait and hope it cools a little. Regardless I'll have to try and tackle it.

*squeals in utter delight* Okay, first of all, Celtic Fling was AWESOME! It was comfortable weather AND...I got to wear my new Albannach kilt I got for my birthday. Yes, I have a KILT!! So today not only was it awesome, but I got a picture with Jamsie of Albannach who created the tartan colors and pattern. Here's the picture(in spoiler) of me with Jamsie after their last show. He said it looked good on me  From the site on the meaning: The Albannach tartan was designed specifically for the band and our fans, to celebrate our love of Scotland. The colours chosen for this tartan represent Scotland, herself: – The bright blue and white are for the Saltire – The muted blue is for the numerous rivers and lochs throughout Scotland – The dark purple is for the heather and the thistle – The olive green is for the rolling hills – The red is for the blood of those who fought for Scotland – The black is for those who died in the name of freedom The threads in the “Saltire” section add up to 13 and the red threads add up to 14… these “Flag and Blood” sections are 1314, the year Robert the Bruce lead at Bannockburn to re-establish Scotland’s independence. Also PookaWitch...lookie what I got!! (spoilered) And it gets better....look who arrived in my inbox!!! Everyone, please meet Glorel(the inscription on his horn is actually on his right one, but I wanted it visible since it's part of him and it means 'only iron remains'.)  Glorel glances around at the others, looking from face to face He's so awesome!! Mr. Pooka did such an awesome job!! He did an alt version with lighter coloration and I love both!!! |

I'm glad that you had such a good time. ^_^ Celtic festivals are fun. Oh! That necklace! I actually had the same thing as broaches pinned to my dress on my wedding day. |

Haha...there are times when liiiiittle details seem to stick with me. That happens to be one of them and if I remember, Mr. Pooka had ones with dragons...I think
