Its a hovering dragonfly in honor of my father's death and his memory. This tattoo took a long time in planning. When I had gotten my first tat here in 2009(?)  I realized I wanted to get one for my dads memory. I was going to do a Peterbuilt truck with Hot Rod somewhere on it. Dad used to call me his little hot rod. I talked myself out of that and came to the idea of a dragonfly. Initially it was to have been on my thigh, but I wanted to be able to show it off so up to my arm it moved. I have always been taught to think about your tattoo - what it is, where it will be, and how it looks. When you have not changed your mind for at least 6 months, it's time and your mentally ready. I've been mentally ready for over a year now, but the time as right today. Here it is in all its glory...  and just for reference...this is the original idea that I had in my mind and gave to my artist today.  after it heals I will have to update the pictures
