Ammelia sighs. 'Is the flow the same? Or is it fluxuationg?' She browraises and smirks at the 'held at staff' comment. 'Aye, and had you in my care, it would be the same.'
She pauses and closes her eyes, 'seeing' what her dragon sees. 'Kalaya, stay there'
She looks back towards the stubborn king 'were in..but I doubt getting in was the hard part. I need to go and see if I can spot some of the enevadable traps placed.' She eyed TaRepy. 'Let me know if you need me to help if healing.'
She then made her way into the tomb (no doubt after the others by this time) and beside her dragon.
((Pooka--what kind of emotions/sences is she feeling? Im also rolling a perception again for danger, and one for anything useful))

Amihan shook his head "I brought no stick. I wish I could help on that. I have little I can use."

Julian lifts his staff. "I have a staff, that should be good enough I suppose." he says as he comes down to investigate.

((13 was danger looking--stationary from where she is, and that fail of a 2 was to see if she could see anything of use))

“We could also try to throw debris down the hall to check for traps?” Myara suggested as she crawled through the small opening.

Amihan can look for traps since he has a thief background. He'll do so as he starts in slowly

Neti looked around the tomb quietly, thankful for Amihan bringing light. She was looking for clues or any useful information that could tell us if the demon was in there or where she had gone. She was eager to help where she could, but wanted to do so carefully.
((OOC: If I need to roll for her looking for clues, please let me know. ^^))

Julian cast a small spell to light the end of his staff as he got closer to the doorway and inside, he could feel Fia trailing behind him. ((Gonna make mention of Fia here and there for now for Rayvin, we RP them offsite a lot. hope thats okay ))

Poking around shows that there were non-magical traps here although the seem to have been disabled in the recent past. But it is good to be careful. Amellia doesn't sense anything beyound the emotions of the group.
Ahead it gets darker and your feline vision will only work so far into the darkness so it's a good thing that there are torches and light spells.
The tomb is fairly large, but it's simple to track where it has been explored not too long ago so you can follow the passageways they went through. The perceptive notice that the steps are mostly skeletal paw prints in the dust and sand of ages.
As your light flickers down the hallway while brave sphinxes poke and search the disabled traps you see three figures in the darkness!! They are fairly still, as if waiting for you, but, just a second, they are too still. As you get closer you can make out three sphinxes turned into stone. One a crio, one a hieroco and one a winged female with horns. On the ground are also the frozen forms of a few animals.
They stand, stoically and silent, in front of a sealed tomb doorway.
Upon the doorway is something written in hieroglyphs, old but possibly readable.. although it seems to have been a cipher of some sort.
There doesn't seem to be any way to open the door itself.
((getting close to the end of this session!))

I forgot to mention...
The stone sphinxes seem to have items and tools denoting that they are thieves of some sort along with markings on the door that makes it seem as if they tried to force their way through.

(So quick question, should we be rolling for ourselves when we do something like check for traps or spell cast? I think most people were under the assumption that we needed to wait for a prompt but maybe not?)

Neti tried to not think about the skeletal prints that have been here long before them. However, when they come upon the three Sphinxes, her heart did sort of hurt for them. She wasn't sure if they were friend or foe once, but it was still sad to see them in this state. Looking at the door, she blinked at the Cipher. This was definitely not something she would be good at, and looked at Amihan. "Any ideas?" She whispered quietly, trying not to look at the three sphinxes.

Amihan examines the script trying to make sense of it "Does anyone know the ancient language? PErhaps it is a hint to open the door. I heard of such things during my former training." He was sad to see these three had not tried to be more delicate as tombs were tricky business at the best of times "He looked at Neti. This cipher might hold the answer to get past the door" (He can try to decipher, but not sure he will be any good at it as he was a thief on the path to tomb robber before becoming a knight and going straight)

((I would prefer if people waited for a prompt but I've been taking them when they made sense so I could rush the story along. But honestly if you're pre-rolling you have no idea if you actually needed one, which could be a hint sometimes. ))
