The jackal like male offered a small smile in response to that " thank you, on both counts. I have to say I'm a bit, well, surprised, its.. been a long while since someone complimented me in such a manner, and, well, I didn't think that a feline would, or could, find someone like myself, you know, a canine, attractive .. "

This brought forth a chuckle from the canine male " Either you're like me, not very good with potentially romantic situations, or I'm being pranked or something along those lines " his tone was clearly amused and teasing.

Especially when you see others around you finding their person, and you know, deep down, you aren't really one of those that's completely happy being alone.. that you're only really alone because you haven't found your someone yet..
