Ok, would it be possible to do one feathered wing and one clockwork wing on a male egyption sphinx? (One of my O.c's, his wing got damaged in a war)

Just for those reading this and wanting different wings, it would work with featherwings and the small demon and chibi featherwings as well as faerie wings... but it wouldn't work with batwings unless you want only the right (closer) side wing. The wings are typically separated when made with left, right.... but the bat wings are flattened together as one template instead of two. So to make a batwing mix work it would need to be the closest one used so the back wing can be masked (if that makes sense). I keep meaning to make new templates for those batwings to fix that issue and just have never gotten around to it. ^^;
The bennu wings and nearly all of the special dragon wings are one template as well. I can't remember if there are more off the top of my head.

quick question ... is it possible to get different markings for a sphinx in a refashioning? That is a sort of maybe kind of answer. I do most of the refashionings and won't be doing any intricate patterns or animal mimics anytime soon. Normally I only accept super simple colour changes and rarely do any kind of patterning. That being said, sometimes if Pooka has the time she'll do some variant options for refashioning, like last years Zena colours and with stuff like that it might be an option. ...and both of these are also contingent on the file and who/how the artist did what they did. Sphinxes aren't built to be changed but sometimes we can still work some digital magic behind the scenes. |

ok so I know you said in the customs thread that Celestion, Sphinxion and Vallhallion wont be recolored dose that include not being able to add any kind of small markings as well?

We're having some fun with these ones sort of like some kind of video game I can't remember the name of, you know, the one where you throw things at monsters and collect them... (-8 So for these ones they won't be able to have any changes or variations as is... There is a chance we'll make some regional versions (like I wonder what at Vallhallion from Katterhiem might look like! ...or maybe they come from there? idk! (-8) or maybe have the rare odd one out like a special release but that's it for now, (-8 I did add the shiny potential, which I don't know if will ever happen with the actual rolls but it feels fun to me, (-8 |

Ok, so if i have an item in my inventory that I wish to use on a custom, would it be possible to get it recolored? for instance I have a scarf item but its not the right colors for my character can I just get that item recolored and used or would I have to by a new scarf item?
also if the scarf sample is female does that mean it can only be used on females or can it be used on males to?

It's all good, I like questions, (-8 So, first, yes anyone can use items they own and apply it during customs, like the scarf, instead of purchasing it. Like most item attaching, if an item is templated (like the scarf and 80 - 90% of things these days) its fine to ask for a simple colour change. (like a blue scarf or even a blue yellow fade or something easy). That's sort of the limit of a change for normal item adding, but for customs you are welcome to ask for things that are more complex but there might be a small price added for something that takes a lot of work. (like making a plaid scarf or adding some complex designs..) Unless the request is somehow super wacky hard it would usually be just a dollar or two at the most. Also, any item we have for both males and females (like scarves!) can be interchangeable when attaching, (-8 I meant to sort or mark items with this info this time around but ran out of time. Occasionally some small things may be switched m/f without any extra work and that's also fine as long as it works. Feel free to ask any time, (-8 (think small things like coin earrings but not things that follow Sphinx lines like a courtiers pectoral.) |

and yet another question.... XD will the heian prestige wig be available for refashionings? and for magical girl vouchers, I know it say the artist picks the costume, does that include picking the wig too? also would it be possible to get a different wig put on a magical girl? or are they only aloud to have the specific magical girl wigs? They are this at this time. The price and which ones are available are listed in Talalara's Refashioning page in the wig section, (-8 (The Heian is on the list but not all of the prestige wigs are available at this time.) It should be very rare when we have prestige wigs available like this I think.

When purchasing a Magic Girl costume (through customs or refashionings) any of the Magic Girl wigs are a option you can choose from for this class as part of the costume. (Just like a Pirate Captain comes with her wig, or a Barbarian has two choices for her wig.). Magic girls can have other wigs or hairstyles though that you can purchase or use a voucher for... Like most classes you can use wig vouchers to change their hair, (-8

ok thought of another question....so I was considering the possibility of getting a sphinx with the bee traits and when trying to decide on a tail I came across the tine tail... now I know that is only for the lamorian dusk elves so my question is...
is it ok/possible to combine the dusk elf stuff with the bee traits ? and if so would it have to be with the face mod or could I get it with a feline face?

Bee traits (antennae and wings) can be added to a Dusk Elf. (virtually anything I can think of that is 'in addition to' like wings or horns or jobs can be added to them. traits that change their lines are usually a no, like different ears and tails for example.) Dusk Elves cannot not have a different face mod. ...and in typical overexplaining Mr. Pooka fashion... The Dusk Elves have their own lore and style and the reasons some things are limited with them is to preserve them as a specific type of people, not really for technical/file reasons. (same reasoning behind only Geisha being allowed to have Geisha hair and costumes and both Halflings and Dwarves cannot have any different traits.) Things with them may change or evolve in the future (usually via RP or Event) but for now in order to keep Dusk Elves Dusk Elves some parts cannot be changed. While we do create some 'trait packages' as jumping off points for expanded builds, a few groups are meant to preserve their something special, (-8 |
