I waited an hour..made sure the level was up to the line and dad shook the stabilizer for over 5 seconds before sealing it.
I think im going ot try first thing in the morning once I get the replacement kit and make sure the level is well over the line o.o I don't want it to fail again.
Been snooping up on the interwebs..apparently some medical conditions *coughs partlywhyIwantedthekit cough* can make it difficult. Not sure about my white bloodcell count but I know im borderline anemic..and ironically, genetics can sometimes make it harder..though im not sure the later would be the case with me since both of my parents and brother got it done (through a different site) and they got their results fine.

I'm highly anemic myself. I wonder if that would cause me issues if I tried to do one.

Anything im missing? I WANT this to go through and getting that email totally rained on my parade. I know I was careful last time so im a bit beside myself.
Also--you should totalyy get a kit. Im super curious now!

Missing? Not that I can think of. I'm trying to remember the instructions from the one my dad got. I'm thinking of getting a 23 and Me one since I want the health screening as well.

I know when Paul and I did our DNA kits I made sure to SLIGHTLY overfill mine. I also know mine took longer than Paul. It could just be they will have enough in the second sampling. <3
And.. I spoiled myself today. I bought a game on STEAM because it was on sale and had been on my list for a LONG time. So I bought it and the last.. 2 hours have been.. interesting. XD
Ghost of a Tale is .. different but I'm having fun and slightly pulling my hair out. XD

Just finished crocheting another Christmas ornament. A snowflake this time, it's the 5th one I've made so far. I love crocheting but don't have patience for big things, though I have tried... It's one of the reasons I love doing little amigarumi so much. So these little ornaments are great and useful I love putting them on our tree when I'm done. How is everyone's yule going? Good I hope. |

I worked, we got slammed and I'm still wondering whyyyyy I volunteered to be in front drive thru when I knew we were going to be slammed. Either way, I made it through and got out of there a little after 4. I picked up some things at walmart, came home and set gifts up for what I'm taking in on Monday for some co-workers. So now I've been relaxing, but bed soon as I'm going out with dad to a gun show and then see the new Star Wars movie.
Monday we're also having a small party at work around 4, so that'll be nice.
