Hello there! I'm Alpacalypse(Pac), and I was just referred here from PonyIsland by Sanguine_Dragon. I was a user of that site 7-8 years ago, and was inactive for years until I was gifted a subscription(and new username) this Christmas. While checking out the adoptable scene, Sanguine linked me here and let me know that the Sphinxes were alive and well and that my old characters were still saved under my previous username, which is awesome.  Anyway, I'm using this name currently here and on PI for a fresh start, but was known as StrangeAnatomy back in the day. I'm looking forward to meeting new folks and reaquainting myself with others! |

Thank you! I'm glad he pulled me back into the fold~
I can understand PI not really working as a host space, since it's a very... consecrated sanitary space. Which is nice for what it is, but limiting as far as art and roleplay go.
Speaking of which, would anyone be willing to give me a few pointers to re-orient myself and catch up with what's going on in the Sphinx world?

Hiya and welcome back! So, what's new with Sphinxes... most of the good stuff can be found just by poking around this site. ...and good cheat sheet of new stuff can often be found by checking out the pickup threads in the general area. We've just finished up our Yule event so things might be a bit slow on this end for about a month and a bit while we're setting up for something new, planned for February. (at least officially slow, no planned events but anyone is welcome to use our RP forums or chat threads just to keep/catch up!) Also, beyond this site the only other link you might need is to our Smugmug. We switched hosters when photobucket went crazytown. (which also explains why some of the sample forums look like a mess... I haven't gotten around to switching images over yet! ...though you can find nice lists at our Smugmug as well, (-8) Sphinxes Owner folders and samplesand if you have any other questions or need anything else feel free to ask in whatever thread we're using for chatting at the time or send me a PM and I'll be happy to help, (-8 |
