What 2 mischievous kids from an Eberron campaign got into:
Kalea and Zyrah were busy poking their dad while he was working on Ammelia's shield.
'Daddy! Daddy! Guess we saw!!'
Richard did not have time to reply to his girls before they began their story of adventure for the day--the twins taking turns and completing each others sentences!
'Well, we and mommy went to purple light---yeah yeah--and we went to sand place. And and and there was 'not Claire' up high in sky! We go see with mummy! And we saw big puppy! Like grampa make. It wanted play! So we play with it. And then we went go play hide and seek!'
The other twin pipped up, squeeing.
'yeah! Yeah! But everything not blue..and no 'mentals. So we go help!'
The twin giggles.
'Puppy took time to find us. We sneeky! Have fun. Was good.' 'But..but when puppy found us, we were in big room!' 'It..it had a..was no 'mental..was….oven? We think?' 'But it no blue. So we made blue!!!'
Kalea squees and her mark on her back begins to glow. Richard then finds that his shirt is now blue.
'Blue!!!'
'Ooh, we think is like...kitchen...but not kitchen. So we made cookies!' 'Yeah! We made it the 'cookie room!' 'Lots of cookies--for everyone!'
Zyrah giggles a bit. 'Lots more cookies left too. 'nuff for lots and lots of kitty people.'
Kalea looks a bit concerned for a sec before going back t her happy self. 'Yep! We hope for everybody. Cause everybody needs cookies!'
The twins look up at their half amused dad--who had been trying to hold back laughing. His girls had found what sounded like an alternate heater room. He shook his head and looked back down at the twins. 'Did you clean up, girls? And was someone with you?'
Kalea made a bit of a sly face. 'Ummm…..well...' 'we clean...made better. Puppy with us. We....de-co-rate. Made table like a cookie..and chairs like a cookie...and walls like blue icing..and..and..'
Richard browraised. 'Girls?'
Zyrah shifted her leg. 'Oh...is still chair and table and wall daddy! Just look like cookies!' Her tone in her voice was then very matter-of-factly and mischievous. 'Auntie Aria teach!'
'A perception spell' Richard spoke under his breath. They were definitely HIS girls. He was just as bad when he was their age. 'Alright girls. Lets go get mommy and see this 'cookie room'. He got up and stretched. Ammelias shield would have to wait. He needed to do a bit of damage control.
With that he picked both of his girls up and opened up a portal. It was time to go and see.

((Entering from Creamy's account, hope that's OK! -springacres)) S.T.E.A.M. CanonThe very concept of the S.T.E.A.M. ship unsettled Creamy. The thought of being on a ship made of metal that could fly through the air in spite of its weight kept him from spending too much time on board, even as a visitor, and sleeping in such a vessel was absolutely out of the question. So he returned to Akhet every night, to his comfortably earth-bound bed and his lovely wife. And yet… in spite of his discomfort, in spite of his aggressive disinterest in anything mechanical, something kept drawing him back into the giant ship every day. The beauty of the metalwork, most likely. His job title might be Royal Guard, but his heart (and crafting skills) still said Smith, and whatever else this ship might be, it was assuredly an example of fine smithcraft. It also contained some fine artisans, as he discovered during one of his visits. The shop was in an area of the ship he hadn’t visited earlier, being tucked away in one of the smaller neighborhoods. The shop front was fairly unassuming, the displays were simple… but the jewelry in them, oh, that was fine work indeed! Necklaces, finger and toe rings, earrings, bracelets, chokers, pins, nose rings… all these and more sparkled at Creamy from inside the shop. Throughout the ship-city thus far, he had seen cogs, gears, pipes, springs, and the like put to utilitarian use, but the owner of this shop had clearly found decorative uses for them as well. The smith-turned-Royal Guard walked into the shop, barely noticing where his paws, wings and tail were. He was too bedazzled by the elegant craftsmanship on display all around him. There were bracelets with gold wire overlay and elegant inset crystals… pendants that had been cunningly designed to look like the Eye of Horus…. and most stunning of all, a choker so intricately made that he had to look twice before realizing it was made of gears: ((Images found at www.etsy.com/shop/EmilySteampunk/))
