The glowing of the puzzle grows until you can see nothing but light.
The luminous shine of the room subsides until you seem to be in, what is most likely a similar room of the same size and shape, but with different glyphs upon the walls. Ahead of you is a simple sliding stone doorway that you can easily open. You exit into what seems like the interior of a large, hollowed out pyramid. Embedded into the walls are different closed doorways, each marked with strange glyphs and sigils. Looking up you can see that there are walkways that lead up to even more floors, all surrounded by doorways.
Sabburo's eyes scan over the writing over the doorways taking in whatever strange language they held. "Ah.' he said casually looking at one of them. "Here we go... 'EXIT'." With that he went over to the doorway to press a glyph beside it before it slid open on it's own.
As you exit the pyramid your eyes take a moment to adjust from darkness to the brightness of daylight. The sight before you is overwhelming and curious. You seem to be exiting a pyramid that is on a circular sphinx-made island. There is a curved waterway ahead of you that surrounds the island, and beyond that another circle of buildings. It seemed like a city of some sort.
Above you was what looked like a dome surrounded by water. You could see as far as the curiously underwater sunlight of the city reached into the depths. A school of fish flitted by the ruins of what must have been a larger city outside.
Sphinxes gathered on the edge of the opposite side of the waterway gawking, trying to get a look at you.
In the water something large swam in the direction of where you were standing. Rising from the water was a beautiful blue sphinx. At least she seemed like a sphinx... until you noticed her bottom half.
She spoke out loud to you in a language that nobody (except probably for Sabburo) seemed to understand. She paused to focus as the gem on her forehead began to glow and a moment later you could hear her soft voice in your head.
"How did you activate the pyramid?' the voice began with a hint of confusion 'Why are you here?"
A second mer-sphinx rose from the water to whisper in the first one's ear. The first blue mer had a sudden look of embarrassment.
"My apologies.' continued the initial sphinx. 'You seem to be just as confused as we are and I have lost my manners." she motioned with a paw towards the city around you.
"Welcome to the City of Atlantis."
