Soooo the one day I was exploring Google images, which is often very dangerous for me sometimes. I was just searching random things and I at one point typed in 'dragon masks'. I saw some pretty cool ones and then came across this one. So I looked and it took me to an etsy page....also a dangerous site for me...and in looking at what the person had, my jaw dropped. I looked at the price and at first I was like 'I really shouldn't, but that is a cool mask...' and while it said 'three left' for it being custom(custom as in you could choose from the three painting styles and the colors she had available), I wasn't surprised. I kept going back to it and kept thinking 'I shouldn't, but I like it, though I shouldn't.'. I wound up sleeping on it, wound up thinking about it the next day at work and...when I got home I immediately ordered it. I had the money and I knew if I didn't get it, I'd kick myself. When I got the confirmation of my order, I clicked to look at the page again and it said 'this item is not available'. Wow, those last two slots went that fast after I ordered? No clue, but glad I didn't wait. Of course she had other models for the same mask, but they were just solid color with nothing else to it. So I waited patiently, now and then checking the status and the one day I got home and saw she messaged me. She had been in the shop and managed to work on my mask that morning, then there were photos of it and I literally squealed!! It was awesome!! It was shipped out two days later and I kept track of it. When I saw what day it was scheduled, I was like 'oh crap, mom'll be home, I don't want her to see it.'. Reason being is I wanted to wear it Halloween and show her that morning before she left for work. So the day comes for it to be delivered and it was a day when she was out at class with Blake. So I knew how long she'd be out and I knew I'd get home before her. I get to the house and...no package, but also mom's not home yet. Awesome. I know how long I have and I'm hoping she's not home by anytime soon. I get settled, still no mail, ten minutes after I get home, here's mom. Crud. So I'm waiting and it's almost 8pm est when I hear the sound of the 'beepbeep!' of the little hand device the mail carrier uses to scan the bar codes on packages and that. Well thankfully he never knocked on the door. He just set the package down and left. Mom was like 'what was that?'. So I got up, looked and said 'oh, mail man passing by', but I looked down enough to see the box off to the side of the door under the mailbox. She's sitting in her chair, so I can't grab it. She said she'd be going to get dinner started soon and I'm like 'okay' and then waiting and watching. As soon as she got up to head for the kitchen, I was off the couch, opening the front door as quietly as I can(not too hard to do), grabbing the box and running it back to my room and placing in a 'hidden' spot. Nope, she never saw me. Next morning she headed to tracking class and I was able to open it and...I'm blown away!! The mask is AWESOME!! After looking at dragon masks for a long time and never being able to afford them(even ones that were really nice and good priced)...I am SO GLAD I didn't hold back on this. Ladies and gents...my dragon side unleashed(three pics).
