Stave Six: Who You Gonna Call.... Upon?

The previous night Selene IV went to bed exhausted... all of that charity and all of those good deeds wore her out. Her sleep was not peaceful though and she tossed and turned all night, worrying about preachy ghosts and know-it-all spirits. It was with bleary eyes she crawled out of bed and went right to her box of contact information, searching for a particular S.T.E.A.M. card. Ah, this is the one she thought as she pulled out the crisp card of some odd papyrus like material. Only a little while later the runner she called was standing in her doorway.

"Who you gonna call... upon?" asked the runner and Selene smiled as she gave him the information.

A few hours later...

Selene IV's eyes examined the curious items that her three new temple guards wore. The priestess didn't quite understand exactly what the strange S.T.E.A.M. contraptions were, but the three sphinxes did promise her that she wouldn't need to be afraid of no ghosts again...

Seems easy enough. The trick is to heat it low and slow to allow the spices to emulsify/incorporate fully while not burning off the alcohol. I do feel like it could be fairly simple to make it non-alcoholic too.

We ended not making the wine mulled, but did delight in a bottle we got last year as a gift. 😋

That cranberry relish sounds delightful!

I'm catching up in the background! I should have the inbox cleared and every contest tallied today, (-8 A few things got a bit behind balancing Yule and Sphinx Yule, (-8 plus things never go as planned when I have to work with Selene IV...

...also it's soooooo hard not to show this stuff off as soon as Pooka makes it, (-8 I've been staring as Spirits and Ghosthunters just dying to get this stuff out for everyone!
