Ohhh makes more sense. My mind went to tarter sauce... which also shows my current reading skills đ

Nah. Easy to misread. He taught me how to make it though. Milk, butter, potatoes and season to taste. ( You can add additional things as well for more flavor)

That sounds extremely simple! I bet substituting cream for milk would make it that much more smooth and flavorful .

I have not done that. We usually do milk, butter, potatoes, onions, salt, pepper. Then when freshening it up we add cheese in. We also frequently add red pepper and such to it. But it is. I usually use almost a whole gallon of milk to create it.

The cream substitute idea sounds like something we'll definitely try! We mostly make it when we have a couple of days before the milk's due date comes up (on the rare occasions we haven't used it up yet! XD)

Plus, itâs soup season! Normally I get a prepackaged âjust add waterâ deal, but do like to make my own. Soup always stretches so far (I do also classify chili as a soup... a chonky soup). I will have to give that recipe a whirl one of these days. I eat soup year round. Yes, even when itâs triple digit weather! A good mirepoix also sounds like it would fit well with the ingredients youâve got listed.

If you like simple ones I introduced Sang to a simple one. I call it Chili con Carne, but it not overly accurate for description. I cook up ground beef, then when cooked almost fully I add salsa, add some minute rice. Cook it all up until the rice is tender and the meat is fully cooked. Depending on how much you use of it all you could be looking at 2-5 meals worth of food.

I adore a nice 'just add water' type soup! XD Sometimes they're better than the ones I make! I also love soup in just about any weather. It's just nice when you want something comforting.
