Pooka's already starting to feel better, (-8 This is why Retta is considering the one dose Johnson and Johnson shot. That and she's afraid of needles. I was terrified of needles for most of my life and would go to any length to avoid them (probably because I spent a lot of time in hospitals and dr offices when I was a kid...) but then sometime in my mid 30's I needed some vaccine shots for school and found that I just became fine with them... I just sort of decided not to be afraid, it was something I needed to do. I mean I don't like them but something just clicked and all my fears of them just turned to 'meh, lets get this over with'. If I knew the exact mental recipe for what went on inside my head I'd totally share, (-8 I'm not sure if it matters to much, as they all seem to have similar results but we both got pfizer shots. (2 for Pooka and one for me so far...) Our city was at 75% with at least there first shot a few weeks ago and our clinics are always moving full steam ahead, we'll prob set some records up here, (-8 Hopefully everyone gets their shots soon so we have a chance to move past this, not just turn into a yearly thing... That sound scary to me Angel! Our gov and WHO still recommend everyone wear a mask in public settings even after vaccination to help stop community spread... being immune (or at least 90 something percent immune) doesn't stop people from getting, carrying and spreading the virus to others even if they don't catch it or notice any symptoms! Having to wear one at work would total bite, but I won't be going anywhere without mine for years at least... It's been way to hot here as well! Fortunately it broke a bit last night and is actually kind of dark and nice here today, (-8 *peeks in* Hi everyone! So many pretties <3 Ugh I really need to get all my trades in >.> been a bit busy though and when I'm not busy I forget 😆 I'm very nearly caught up on everything in my inbox and I'll prob keep trades open for another weekish... so sending trades in soon will guarantee they'll get done in a timely manner, (-8 (If anyone sends in their prearranged trades later, particulary for situations beyond their control, I should probably still get them done but it'll be a much longer time before I get there... perhaps months. I've got plans!) Also I'll be closing down reafashionings at the same time, so if anyone's trades required them it's also a good idea to get them in soon, (-8 |

We've had the same thing with the recommendations, but I wash my hands every moment I have a break to do so at work. It's nice not having to wear the masks at work because with it being hot as it is, it would be really uncomfortable at work. Yea, we have the ac on, you can feel it in the dining room and further towards the back, but over in the drive thru corner...I feel NOTHING. They had the system looked at, said that they need some parts for it, so until the stupid thing is fully fixed, I'm practically melting and I'm drinking powerade or water as much as possible so I don't wind up with heat exhaustion...again. I've already had it once while in that corner this month, not interested in getting again.

I'm all caught up with everything in my inbox! (trades/refashioning/certing/ etc... I might still have a PM or two to respond to!)
So, I've added a timer to both the Trades and Refashioning Threads. If anyone has any last minute trades or upgrades, don't forget to get them sent in! Also if you've got anything left you haven't claimed or got certed, now is also the time to get on that before I clear out my Smugmug folders and put anything unclaimed back into the pool. I'm also wrangling up the last few Specials for the Shop, and once I've got those added I'll also put a timer on that too. ....also if you sent me something and it hasn't been done, totally double check with me in case it got missed!
Being I've found myself with a bit of spare time, there were a a few requests for more semicustoms so I'll also add some slots there if anyone wants some!
...hummm, I feel efficient and accomplished, (-8

also, hi again! Normally this time of year we'd be spending more time outdoors but we've got a ton of indoor projects... so we are catching up on all the good movies and shows while arting... (-8
I'd totally recommend Gunpowder Milkshake, it was super fun in a Tarantino kind of way (without 95 offensive curse words a minute, but stylistically!)
I know Pooka is super bored of Zombie movies/shows, but when the insomnia kicked in I watched all of Z Nation which was really really good, prob the best Zombie apocalypse show out there (especially the first couple of seasons) by miles and miles. Honestly, even before Pooka's zombie burnout, we both got kind of bored with the Walking Dead and gave it up, but Z Nation is super entertaining... it doesn't take things to seriously and can be both scary and hilarious at times! It's made by the same studio that made Sharknado and while it's a much higher quality it also has it's own sense of irreverence towards the genre... (and a couple of the characters have 'who knows if it's official' crossovers in a couple of the Sharknado movies, (-8)
...now I'm waiting and saving up a few more episodes before I start binging Evil and Fort Salem... How did I used to watch TV at all before On Demand was a thing? Wait a whole week for each episode? Yikes!

Ya, Z Nation was a blast! (-8 Early in the first few seasons I liked the wacky different zombie ...'mutations'? I'm totally stealing some of those ideas for our home RP games, (-8

I watched Evil over the quarantine period last year... and it's so weird! Both parts confused but intrigued, and the episodic. There was one particular episode that was super memorable and it had to do with pools. o.o I'll leave at that when you get to watch it!
