Tiaua growls and reaches for her target, "Get.. closer.. CLOSER.. ALMOST GOTCHA!"

Vex flew in the direction of the raptor, all her attention and energy spent on catching up with the bigger winged raptor. She flew higher, aiming to get right above the raptor or close. Perhaps she could drop Tiaua on her and call it a day...

Idell watches from below and then frowns. Did Tiaua even have a weapon?

“I cannot believe this is working.” Rajan said and shook his head slightly.

Linnaeus chuckled at Rajan. "Oh ye of little faith."

Tiaua would be very glad she neither spoke draconian nor read minds. All her focus was on grappling the teeth nashing raptor with wings. "A-lmost.. there!"

"We had to do something," Marin shrugs, and well it had been her idea. Of course it was working.

"It is rather surprising," Idell agreed with the blunt male.

“No, AVOID the teeth!” Rajan yelled again and sighed, putting his paw to his face.

Vez kept flapping, her long wings working harder than she ever had before. When she found the right angle, she chirped at Tiaua for confirmation to drop her.

Idell's eyes were riveted above. "I hope she doesn't lose anything," she muttered aloud.

"Try to guide it down to a ledge! Get it away from the volcano," Marin yelled to the crazy sphinx flying through the air.

Tiaua looked over, "Closer to the teeth?! That seems not correct!" She couldn't hear a lot of the conversation below, just the bubbling rumble of the volcano and the heavy whoosh-flap of the little dragon's wings. Well that and her own thundering heart.

Tiaua looked up, "NOW!"

Vez let go of Tiaua and immediately started aiming for the raptor's head. She nipped at her and hoped that'd bring the wing lady down and away.
