So, Lamorian Yuletide aside, do any of you have plans for the holidays? Our plans are pretty much running a sphinx event, and afterwards Mr. Pooka said that he's going to see if he can put together a Christmas RP for me. ^_^ In our home RP, the one with Yama Sugi Golden, it has a theme of deities being stuck on earth in modern day and sometimes their newer children are around. I was inspired by the holidays and made two characters, both children of Santa/Holly King/Odin. ^_^ Peppermint and Cookie. I also have the idea to make a modern day Yule cleric. She is the sort of person who starts to overly decorate their home in mid November, spends the year setting up and buying gifts for Christmas, has their family holiday photos taken in August (since she's too excited and sends out the cards early every year), knits Christmas sweaters for all her friend, etc. I may roll her up tonight. ^_^ |

Nothing out of the ordinary here planned. Rasa is off for the rest of the year, but I have to work half of this coming week. It's busy in the office, so that's taking the majority of my brain power. Other than that, we finished wrapping gifts last night. We'll make Christmas dinner on Saturday and take it to my parents' house, and I think we have plans for a Lord of the Rings marathon between Christmas and New Years and cleaning.
*is trying to think creatively about the trim the tree game* I think I have some black and white ribbon somewhere and maybe a chain... XD

Honestly our holiday plans are pretty much on hold at the moment- between car trouble and Covid, we're probably going to stay put this year.
Playing Kingmaker has given me some new character ideas to work with, though. I'm currently playing a DLC campaign as a chaotic good aasimar eldritch scoundrel and it's wild!

I love Peppermint and Cookie and can't wait to RP with them! I've got a fun game planned for Pooka... but I can't mention due to spoilers, (-8 For our Yule dinner I'm planning on cooking a very sweet gift we got in the mail a couple of days ago, a giant chicken, (-8 (a particular sweet friend often sends us cookies and sweets around this time of year but, because we've adjusted our eating habits so dramatically and she knew we couldn't have them, she sent us a big box of meat from a Butcher Box which is such a thoughtful and awesome treat! ...we'll be feasting on the goodies all the holiday season, (-8) That sounds awesome! I'd almost consider the same but there is a whole sleigh full of great shows all dropping it like the second season of the Witcher, the House of Boba Fett and the next season of Cobra Kai... so many good things all at once, (-8 (plus waiting on the not jolly at all but wonderful next episode of Dexter as well as the last episode of Hawkeye which is probably the very best marvel show they've made, and is holiday themed!) ...but on the LOTR note, idk if you happened to see this, (-8 spoilered with a note... I think there is a bit of profanity in there, not to much but enough to mention!

New hair and a new lacy shrug... with skull lace. ^_^ (If you look very closely, since it's difficult to see on the dark bodies, the lace is skulls and flowers.) I have a Threnody sphinx who is a Blackmoon as well, and a plethora of the family as offline characters. They're an odd bunch, many vampires in the family, a couple werewolves, a mummy, liches, dullahan, banshees, unseelie sidhe, etc, etc. They're typically a very friendly group, if you can get past all of that. XD I actually made a family tree of the Blackmoon's on a site, and still need to add a few members. ^^; Although Caerdwyn and Gwendolyn are very, very old characters. I created them back in the mid 90s. Their mother was one of my first D&D characters. |

Okay, finally at my computer so I can look over the things. Loving the theme! -eyes emoji-
Not too much planned here, my grandmother usually cooks dinner and we exchange gifts, but it hasn't felt like the holiday season to me at all. x'D We had some big expenses crop up recently as well.

Staying home is the perfect holiday for us, Spring, (-8 It's a good excuse to make cookies and treats. and playing games for the holidays is also perfectly awesome and probably on my list as well! We'll also be roleplaying some pathfinder... I've only heard good things about Kingmaker though and it sounds pretty awesome, maybe better as a video game then an Adventure path!? |
