I admit Sang had to tell me that though I never dressed the part I was pretty much always a Goth. I just never actually realized, but Sang still wears black nail polish. He still listens to My Chemical Romance, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Evanescence and other such bands. He introduced me to them as I had not got to hear them even when I would spend weeks jumping around looking for new music.

*bounces around* Today's the daaayyy!! The sun is shining, mom's 'new' chair is in place, the tree is going up in half an hour!!! So happy!!
and I say 'new' chair because the chair she's been sitting on for the past...crap...11 or so years now...has finally been put to the curb where it'll either be taken with trash or someone in the neighborhood will take it and use it(it's still in good condition, but it's just so worn that it's ugly and the only other thing mom could think of is getting a chair cover for it). The 'new' chair that she is now sitting in, is the same kind/color as the other one, BUT it has been sitting upstairs in the computer room covered in plastic since day one. It was supposed to go to a friend because the company was having a sale of buy one, get one half off. So she and a friend chipped in to get the two chairs, but he never took the other one, so....back up chair. Well since it's been upstairs and covered in the plastic...'brand new' despite it been up there for 11 or so years XD Mom's happy.

I absolutely adore Tabbris and Marchosias! <3 That Christmas image is so sweet and really gives a good image representation of their relationship. It's darling! Congrats to all the winners last night. Hubby and I went and saw the new Kingsman movie in an theater all to ourselves! I think there were more people interested in seeing the new spiderman. Which I'm fine with because it meant we got to enjoy our movie as if we were in our living room (my preference).  |

Moring! *sips tea while getting over amazingly hot Storm Trooper Hot Sauce...*
We watched the last episode of the Hawkeye show last night and it was terrific! I've kind of been suckered in to the other MCU shows because I can't resist comic book shows, but really haven't cared for most of them contrary to popular opinion. ...but, as never in a million years would I have expected to say, but Hawkeye was an excellent story and it totally turned a character, who could have been replaced with a cardboard cut-out and no one would notice, into someone likeable and worthy of a great tale, along with Kate Bishop (-8 (while I never read a ton of Avengers, I did really get into the Young Avengers in the era of great teen marvel books of the early 00s like Runaways, and Kate was always pretty cool, (-8)
What did you think if the Kingsman Cameron? I LOVE the Kingsman movies and am super looking forward to it, when it's streaming somewhere!

The twins from Lamoria were rather pleased with their success. Every stocking had a shrunken head, evergreens were decorated with skulls and bats, and the screams from local sphinxes showed how much they appreciated their hard work. Katterheim had their most exciting Yuletide ever!
The two dug deeper into the what seemed like a never-ending bag of 'presents' but finally started to come to an end.  Caerdwyn: I believe that we have reached our last few presents my sister. Gwendolyn: Yes you are correct, the bag is nearly empty. Caerdwyn: We should hand out those which remain in the sack before we go. Gwendolyn: I'm sure that the locals will appreciate it if we start tossing presents at them. Finale
Caerdwyn: What an excellent job we did sister.
Gwendolyn: I know. We outdid ourselves with a job well done.
The spirit of the season had taken a hold of the Katterheim locals and it was quite a festive scene, watching them all come together... Children could be heard crying in pure joy at their exciting new toys, or in some cases running from them. Just wait until they found that each cookie in town had been coated in the most delightful black licorice flavoured icing, a Lamorian specialty! Many Vikings could be seen lighting festive torches and presumably festive pitchforks, along with several sharpened swords and axes... ah, just like home thought the twins.
Caerdwyn: Well, we don't want to overstay our welcome sister, perhaps it's time we leave.
Gwendolyn: It does seem like a good time as the locals are preparing something special and it might be best to let them get to it.
The crowd moved towards the sisters as they boarded their sled, increasing speed as it seemed the twins were about to leave.
Caerdwyn: Oh look how they rush over to thank us, how delightful indeed.
Gwendolyn: Too true sister, but I feel modestly should take precedence here. We don't need their thanks to know what kind deeds we've done in the name of Santa.
The thunderous hooves of eight black horses erupted as the sled pulled away from the crowd. Flaming arrows and bladed weapons of all types began to fly at the gothic sled, sending the sisters off with a tremendous show. Both turned and waved at the roaring crowd, genuinely touched at the effort they were putting in to stopping them... presumable to keep them around beyond Yule. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end though and horses pulled the sleigh up into the clear night sky. Joining the arrows, axes and daggers already imbedded in its sides, a massive great sword pierced the back of the sled wedged neatly between the twins and they both looked at each other and smiled at yet another thoughtful gift.
Caerdwyn: Oh they are just so giving indeed.
Gwendolyn: Perhaps we can give them one last present and bring the custom full circle.
The twins gathered some of the many gifted weapons and procured several others from Santa's borrowed sack. Looking at the labels both sisters shrugged and thought that these Katterheim Sphinxes would appreciate these swords more than anyone in a place called Narnia anyways. With a tug of the reigns they turned the sled for a final flyby of the great city. From high above the crowed they began to push piles of these gifted blades over the edge into the eager crowd. Oh the cries of joy, surprise and excitement nearly moved the twins to tears themselves. They called out their final goodbyes as the flew into the night.
Caerdwyn: Merry Yuletide to one and all.
Gwendolyn: And to all a good Fright!

EpilogueThe Katterheim mob thankfully watched the sleigh disappear into the distance, far out of bow range, and gave a collective sigh... it was over. Then there was an angry snort behind them. Turning around it seemed as if the twins forgot something. Beneath the nightmare's flaming hooves the snow melted with each step as she darted towards the local sphinxes.  ((OOC - last game!))Erm, the twins forgot their nightmare. Whoops! To enter a draw to win the nightmare post a picture of your sphinx, somebody running for their lives and then an image of an angry or running horse/nightmare/equine beneath. Include somewhere in your post some sort of flavour text of your sphinx reacting, running, screaming, etc. You have up until 2 hours from this post to enter the draw.
