A great way to declutter! I helped my bf and we just moved her. She only moved over what she absolutely needed. Then held a lawn sale and got rid of non-essentials! Made some coin as well. Went good!

So... we will be doing something for Yule! <3 I don't know how big it will be since we're super busy, but I've already started making new templates for an event. ^_^ To us, doing this event every year is part of our own celebration because we have so much fun and it feels so festive.  I was getting bummed out about possibly missing it so Mr. Pooka's working extra hard at packing so I can template. I may have to take you up on that offer Operetta. I just want to finish a few more templates before it's sent over to you. ^_^ |

We did just kind of drop off there with a bit of a cliff-hanger... but Pooka's got everyone up to date, (-8 ...and I hardly know where the last few months have gone, things have been crazy!
Thanks for all the well wishes, we both really appreciate it (-8 I'll be in and out and kind of all over the place the next bit as we get ready to move and then actually move in the coldest part of our norther winter... I can't believe the stuff that piles up after living somewhere for 20 years, and then trying to condense it down. Its a shame none of you are closer cuz I'm giving away soooo much stuff I'd be happy to give to friends that just won't fit in the new place, like my cookbook collection or lawnmower...
Pooka's already created some truly delightful treats for Yule that I cant' wait to show off, (-8 (and collect some of for myself!) I have one more fun note about Yule I'll add in a separate post so it doesn't get lost, (-8
I'm also super excited about the project I worked on for our planned fall event (that unfortunately we just could do due to life getting in the way). I started on it in secret to surprise Pooka and she loved it when I finally showed her and I hope you guys will to! Like Pooka mentioned idk when we'll get to it though...with the timing of moving and then the Heb... so probably sometime shortly after the Heb I think. I will not be able to keep my secrets in for much longer than that, (-8 ...and we have some very ambitions plans for this Heb as well which will keep us super busy as our first 'after move' project. It's also something I find extremely exciting and am very passionate about! I'm in dangerously temping to drop spoiler territory so I'll step back a bit before I start yelling out surprises and secrets, (-8
I'd love to do this if we had time, but mostly I'm just giving stuff away. Though, I keep also picturing a January garage sale in Northern Ontario with 6' of snow, wondering if it might be just the most Canadian thing...

Yule Cards!
I have always wanted to send out holiday cards but my ambition brain cells don't sync well with my planning brain cells and I often remember just a bit to late. ..but this year I picked up some nice cards that I would love to send out to you, (-8 December 1st might still be cutting it close but I'm happy to give it a go!

It's a lovely snowy winter day here, combined with some happy Yule music in the background making it perfect for working on our Yule treats! (I'm loving how Pooka went from 'I might not be able to do Yule' to 'Look at all the things I made, I can't wait to give them out!', (-8 Her inspiration Muse is working as hard as she is, (-8) It will be extra delightful being able to celebrate Yule with all of you here, (-8 We're not doing to much at our place as it's a chaotic mess of boxes, bags and piles of 'to be sorted' stuff. I do feel bad for making people worry about us! ...it has been a bit rough but we're truly optimistic atm though and are super looking forward to living somewhere safer and more stable, (-8 I am so happy to hear from you guys! While we've been sorting, packing and Sphinxing in the background we've watched a ton of mostly awful holiday specials... though the formulas are almost fun with watch in a surreal way, over and over again! (I've also developed a whole Xmas movie sorting system based on how much stubble the lead male character has in the cover poster. Just a bit means he's still hurting from his breakup and is to sad to take care of himself, if only he knew how much you loved him, to a bit more that signifies he's given up and needs a holiday princess to step in and fix care for him, to heavy stubble which means he's going to be hard to tame, but don't worry you'll be able to curb all his bad habits and make him oh so much better... but he'll still have the dangerous edge that attracted you in the first place! ... full beard means he's Santa. Period. Every time.)
There has been a couple of exceptions though. We both enjoyed Spirited and Scrooge (2022). Spirited was pretty funny and had a fun twist but I can't say much without spoilers. The new Scrooge movie was surprisingly delightful! I have to admit I'm not a fan of CG and I thought the trailer was a bit meh (they picked the worst song from the whole film imo) but I was pleasantly surprised, (-8 Everyone knows the story of course (mind you this one doesn't have Ghostbusters Ghosthunters for some reason...) but the music really worked for this one and made it a deeply emotional ride! I'd totally suggest both of these ones!
