Why do people look at me wired when I ask if can have a sticker? We got our boosters today and there were things like stickers, crayons and colouring pages, juice and some kind of crackeror cookie.
I like stickers. I'm a kid at heart. Don't judge me based on your ideals><
I got my sticker. There were like, a dozen to pick from. I shall have to find a place to put it đ

We got stickers to! (-8 ...though we only had one option, I'll make sure to complain about that when I go to get my booster, lol, cuz they don't have anything better to worry about I'm sure! (obviously joking, in case my humor isn't showing through today, (-8)
..and hopefully I can get my 3rd soon! Pooka's all done, but our town is 80% priority list, being an retirement destination, so they work through that before they are available for everyone.

Yikes... We just had a 20 C swing in one day ourselves! (-25s the last couple of days and then -5 today) ...and the warmer weather is gonna bring us snow. I tiny bit today, but there's a bigger one on the way. ...then back to the -20s. ...then more 20 degree swings, warm on the weekend then dropping back to -20s... nothing gradual or consistent, just wild Nature mood swings.

Ah, also last year I started playing with crypto currencies... and was curious if anyone else was interested in the topic? You know⌠Iâm not really into crypto or NFTs. Would much rather stick to my long term investments in index funds, buuuuut hubby is rather into crypto. I honestly donât understand it enough to be willing to take a risk. Weâve been really into Cobra Kai, but havenât started the new season. I also believe the seasons need to be longer lol We are also anticipating the new Star Wars thing with Boba Fett, but need to re-up our Disney+ subscription. Seems to be snow and cold all over the place, especially where it not usualâŚ.we've got some pretty strict lockdowns and restrictions going on anyways We got hit âpretty hardâ? Itâs difficult to tell lately, but any precipitation here is welcome. What isnât welcome is the cold. Had a low of -2 this morning. Which isnât normally bad for myself, but I fear Iâve accumulated to the weather here. Donât know that I could survive a -40 day without a whole ton of complaining. |

We were supposed to have gotten a little bit of snow today here...yea...no. It went south of us and while the Jersey shore got hit with snow...we got absolutely nothing!! Not even a trace on the ground to show that it passed through. It was though cold enough that I had to bring out my winter coat. Felt good to wear that though. I hope we get snow this year, I want to be able to get some video of Blake running and playing in it. Last year when we had snow and I got home from work, it was always too dark to get any sort of video and on days off when I could...the guys didn't want to run around it. It was like they KNEW I wanted to get video. Oh well. We'll see what happens this year.
Oh and nothing wrong with wanting a sticker. When I got my first dose, I got a sticker. Still have it. After the second one, they had pins, but...they weren't anything exciting. I had gone on to Etsy and found a cute one for the company shot I had gotten. Once the needle was pulled out and the bandaid put on, the woman said 'okay, you're good to go' and I pulled out the pin and went 'now I can wear this!' and she looked at it and went 'that's cute! Where'd you get that?' and I told her on Etsy and she said 'wow, those are much cuter than these little things' XD

Playing with cryptocurrencies may just drive me crazy, (-8 but I only invested a bit of money I could spare and went into it expecting to lose everything. Not the sort of thing I'd actually leverage anything into, like some super crazies getting loans or risking mortgage money. I wasted money on stupider things so I figured why not! ...that being said, as of today, I've nearly tripled the money I put in (though to be honest it was quadrupled a month ago... and watching the ups and downs is the part that will drive me nuts)...
Now NFTs are a whole other topic. It's a concept that seems confusing to a lot of people atm and has a steep learning curve, at least for now, but they are (as a concept and in practice at least) def here to stay... and will be a part of a lot of digital life over the next few years.
...and Cobra Kai is just consistently good, (-8 that's really all I can say without spoilers! If you enjoyed the previous seasons then you should be happy, (-8 (except for there not being enough!)
...Boba Fett's on my watch list as well... and I'm looking forward to it greatly!
we got a few weeks of -40s last year (-8 (with a few days pushing the -50s)... stuck in those 'polar vortexes'. Really I don't mind the cold myself but that kind of dramaic low wreaks havoc on everything, like freezing the car battery to death and constant water pipe maintenance. Now if I had a heated garage and didn't live in a trailer, I'd just enjoy it! There's something refreshing about it to me... the way you can breathe in the frozen air, the squeaky crunch of the snow, (-8 On the flipside we were talking about how the southern heat would do us in... I'm afraid of Texas and Florida summers!

While I'm quite happy with some stickers for my shot, (-8 I have to admit some of the awesome popups they did for kids down south were super cool! There was one in Toronto where the kids were encouraged to wear super hero costumes and they got all sorts of posters or neat super hero souvenirs which would have been pretty awesome, (-8 The only downside is the next time their parents have to take them for a regular shot and all they get is a bandaid, lol, (-8
I think I read there were similar stuff in the states for kids, sponsored by Marvel and DC offering comics and stuff, also pretty cool for kids!

The temperature dropped here big time, but no snow yet. I'm content with that because I hate driving in the stuff. x'D
We just had to have a new HVAC unit installed last month so it's uh, it's getting put to the test now, heh.
We've been watching the Dexter revival and it's been stressing me and Cryptic out SO much, this last episode was a doozy! I'm afraid to know how it's going to end.
Other than that, it's working and trying to avoid omicron ("OMICRON PERSEI 8" goes off in my head -every time- XD), I am due for my booster shot. ;w; It hit Cryptic pretty hard so I'm dreading feeling bad on my day off, weh.

On good news I am so looking forward to eventually getting my hands on Jurassic World Evolution 2. That should be fun to play!

oh my gosh, how did my brain skip that association? It must be to long since I've watched Futurama, but now I won't be able to read it without that voice, (-8
Luckily Pooka felt pretty good after her booster... but totally send some good wishes to Cryptic that she feels better soon!
The trailer for that looked pretty darn cool, (-8 ...as an aside idk if anyone watched the Jurassic Camp animated show on Netflix? It's advertised for kids but is surprisingly awesome and a good watch! (mind you there's some problems with the completely insane villain(s) in the second season and a few common sense issues I'd be happy to chat about in a spoiler free area, (-8)
