I thought about getting Jurassic World Evolution but I'm not sure how I feel about the fact you apparently don't breed dinosaurs, though I've read a bit more about the synth process and I'm considering it again

We own the first one and have enjoyed it a great deal. We beat the game (Sang was first on that) and got some of the DLC. Now we want 2 so we can have water dinos as well.

Thanks, Mr. Pooka! I actually got my Moderna booster at the start of November, but I had to call off work the next day. My first shot wasn't bad, just sore arm and then a week later, a swollen lymph node under the arm. Second shot gave me the chills and a mild fever, and every joint in my body ached so bad that I couldn't sleep for more than a couple hours at a time. The booster hit me the hardest, though. High fever, more chills and aches, nausea, the whole shebang, but I was able to sleep most of it away. It's so weird because my coworkers? Almost all of them had no reaction whatsoever. >.>
Re: Dexter, I've got a few ideas on what might possibly happen but I don't know that I'm ready to see the finale, to be honest. x'D It's been very good, though. It's certainly kept me on the edge of my seat!
We also finished the second season of The Witcher and I'm already ready for the next season! We're gonna have to watch the animated film about Vesemir, too, since we haven't gotten to that yet.

My dinosaur farm/breeding on Runescape is stuck in a bad luck loop of months... (so, no real ties to Jurassic Park, just couldn't help but mention, lol)... It's like simply flipping a coin but getting the same result for over three months now and I don't think I can get more unlucky!
I never really had any significant side effects from my Vaccine shots (phizer) luckily enough... with the exception of a bruise I got after my first one that lasted over 3 months till I got my next one... kind of weird but not a real problem.
*waits patiently for the last Dexter...*
We've just got to the Witcher S2 now, but I haven't seen enough to give a super opinion yet, (-8 but we did see the first episode of the Book of Boba Fett and was super nostalgialisious and has some good potential. It sets up the shows theme pretty well I think. The Mandalorian finds its roots, theme and story in classic Westerns (especially the ones knocked off inspired by Kurosawa films, with a hearty dose of Lone Wolf and Cub, while Boba Fett is going more for the strait up Kurosawa Samurai epics... and I can totally get behind this cuz it's all cool, (-8
ah, and while lockdowns are picking up again and things are making it harder to go outside, I super recommend anyone who loves either of the above Star Wars shows to take a peek at the origin materials... what might seem like old timey westerns your father or grandfather liked to watch or Japanese language films that you may have to search for, I think many will be surprised but just how good these movies are and I think the even improve with age. There's the Dollars trilogy (A Fist Full of Dollars, A Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) and the Kurosawa movies they were based on (start with Yojimbo!). Or you could check out The Magnificent Seven and The Seven Samurai... ah, these are all such good movies! (and if you like them, I'd suggest jumping down the Kurosawa move rabbit hole, there is some real treasure there!)
...and side track done, (-8 Except for the addendum that we also got to see Ghostbusters Afterlife and it was a real treat, (-8 I'd also recommend that one!
Oh and the music from the westerns above are equally awesome! I leave you with this one, (-8

Soo far I've got similar symptoms to the last shot. I'm getting better but after 3 days still have a painful arm.

Ahhh, so excited about the second episode of Boba Fett! I think the show runners for this show know just how to feed the fans, I tell ya, (-8 ...now I won't go into any spoilers but they did drop a surprise character from the canon comics into a prominent role which is just crossover awesomeness! ...and it feels like they might set up another important comic character tied to this one, similar to what they did with Ahsoka in the Mandalorian, as a possible spin off... (which I'm sure no one remembers me saying, lol, a couple of years ago NEEDED a movie! ..but I'd settle for, and perhaps prefer these days, a quality tv show!)
...there is some really really good Star Wars comics out there...

Hi everyone! *waves* I was poked by a mooph, who had been poked by a wolf to check the probords. 😆 I've been rather busy lately with holidays and stuff XD My son sliced his foot open,got 4 stitches and was on crutches for Christmas. Ya it was a thing...🤕😑 He is pretty much healed up now but will probably have a nice scar on the bottom of his foot. While skimming this thread I saw snow was a topic, we literally just took a day trip to the snow this Saturday. We where supposed to go right after Christmas while the kids were on winter break but my son getting hurt and being on crutches postponed it. It was a nice trip though we drove up to strawberry and spent 3-4 hours playing in snow with the kids. 😊 I hope the pookas and everyone else are doing well 🙂 And now let me just gush for a sec on how adorable this girl is!  Thank you so much pooka! You did such a great job! She is so cute! And my first female sphinx with the phoenix tail! *squishies little sphinx girl* I can't wait to see what kind of mischief her, Mirakel and Zaida will get into together. 🤣 Now to think of a name for her....*goes to ponder* Edit: In my tiredness last night apparently I failed to realize she was all ready named *hides* 😆 |

She also has the first templated velvet ears for cubs. ^_^ (For the child stage at least. I have no clue if the old infant template had them done.)
I'm going to mention again with bigger font to make sure that people see this...
Since the customs forum is currently hidden due to a project, I'm posting the results of the breedings/growings in the pickups thread. ^_^
I'm working on them at the moment when I have the time. I don't know how far I'll get before I'm busy again but I'm trying to at least catch up!

Breedings? What breedings? O.o..... Also....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! IT CAME!!!! My custom wand came!!!! So during the wonderful wizarding mini event, I found a shop on etsy that makes custom wands. They have a link to a site where you can play around with the front portion, middle and handle, the stain, what wood you want used and what size(goes up to 14 inches). So I found a combination that I looooooved and once I finally had the money for it, I ordered it and it came!! It looks awesome!!! My wand is 14"(yea I wanted a little length XD), pine, black cherry stain, semi gloss, gradient on the color and so pretty!! Pictures!!!! |
