We live in the land of ice fishing but for some reason I've just never done it!? I've fished off the side of ice, stood in waste deep icy water to fish but never really technically gone ice fishing... Don't know how I completely forgot to reply to this until now... But here we are

Its probably one of my favorite winter activities. I usually only go when the weather is nice. Nice being relative because it's usually still cold, but as long as the sun is out it take the edge off completely. We ended up catching about 34 yellow perch last weekend (there's no limit on those little guys on my side of the mountina!). That's typically what we go for because I don't particularly care for trout and I personally haven't gotten into much else. I have done a bit of research on kokanee, but all the lakes nearby that have them are a lengthy drive that hubby and I are not willing to do for a day trip.

ive been slowly working on art for my sisters site. Finally managed to get something going (wrist issues pluse ps being...ps means im only able to draw for a little bit of time each day).

Im not sure how ill shade this yet but I thought id share. It will be transparent when done so it can be put onto aparel and stuff. Ill probably do a cool colour version as well.
