Figured I’d pop in here and share a site I’ve been using for character/world development! www.notebook.aiSuper handy to use, and allows you to create different universes with differing worlds etc. for your varying characters. It’s definitly helped me keep stories straight! ^^ |

I get lost easily, (-8 ... so this seemed sort of like a prompt style writing program where you are simply typing up stuff about your own settings but it has sort of pre-loaded questions or prompts for you to write about for world building? I guess that's more of a statement than a question, but am I close? |

We are not able to go this year but I do love watching all the weird/interesting new food they make for the midway at the Calgary Stampede every year! There is always a bit of a production just announcing each years menus... Mr. Pooka I believe it is more so based on free writing and more of an organization type system. I honestly have not delved too far into it other than entering in characters to organize them in their realms and relations to one another. I do not know whether or not there are actual prompts provided to aide in character development. I think the questions asked assist in the orginization of character personalities and less for development of personalities? If that makes sense?

I think I get it, thanks! I'm an old fashioned Luddite and am literally surrounded by piles of notepaper with my worlds and characters and such heaped in piles and stored in tins... Idk if I'd switch to putting everything in a digital format but I like the idea of some of the sorting concepts, at least for the inspirational reasons. If you end up using it more I'd love to get a bit more feedback in the future, if you don't mind!

No worries!! I too have archives of random pieces of scrap paper and notebooks with information relating to characters. And I can only imagine how much of a job it would be for you and Pooka to move everything to the digital format. Mostly right now I’m using it to keep worlds and realms in order and it seems to work well for that. I will surely update as I delve more into it! 😃
