i have a new goal for a sphinx....  I think I could prob get pretty close... prob a ton of layering/masking mistakes but I just wanted to see how close I could get quickly...  |

Also, Angel, I'm sure the folks in upstate New York would love to send you some. It'd be a lot closer and no worries about international shipping or customs!

Sio always comes up with such awesome ideas! I still haven't made any decisions on purchases. LOL I'm just too indecisive and spent a large chunk of today out. Perhaps I can get my act together in time for next year's Heb!  Generally a good strategy, but of course by the time Heb customs come around hopefully we'll have inspired a 100 new ideas, (-8 (I am ridiculously excited for what we've got coming for the Heb!) I 1000% agree with you Retta!! Sio, you do a wonderful job conveying your ideas into sphinx form 💕 Also in general this community has such great and unique plans for their hoards within the framework the Pookas create for us. It’s utterly brilliant!! I’m so enchanted by this Yule’s reveals I cannot even fathom Heb at this point! Lol ...and I hope everyone is enjoying some lazy holidays off! we had ANOTHER foot of snow from a blizzard yesterday and I'm super glad I had nowhere to be, it was wild out there, though I was awoken a bit too early by the snow blower brigaded. It's kind of like one of those movies about the suburbs where everyone comes out to mow their lawns at the same time on the same day, but with snow blowers. Hello? Is this the Canada Snow Ordering Hotline? Yes I'd like to place an order. Please send some of that snow our way...to the lower right area of Pennsylvania. I want some snow this winter. A foot would be nice to start with. Thank you so much We got hit last night rain then snow. It’s supposed to rain and snow even more today and on into the new year. The roads are a disaster from what I hear, but luckily I get to stay snuggled up in my blankets wearing PJs. 😊 Also, AoM, I would love to send you some fresh powder straight from the Rockies! |

I like to think I come up with some pretty good ideas working the stuff Pooka makes but I do have to admit that sometimes when I get a custom/refashioning form I can totally get a 'why didn't I think of that! awesome!' moment, (-8
...and I love watching Pooka work when the inspiration hits. She goes from 0 to 100 and makes inspiration magic, (-8
We're also getting rain today... but, somehow it's having the opposite effect here Cameron, and is actually making our roads better! The last few days have dropped a ton of snow but the temp has been pretty high leaving everything coated in a mushy mess, but todays just slightly warmer weather had given the snow plows a chance to actually scrap the ice right back down to the road... and the rain is polishing off the bits of ice left. Up here we often get so much snow and ice that it coats the roads and is not removable so we end up driving on 1-3 inches of snow and ice all winter, so actual road is a luxury, (-8

It's getting closer to new years! I'm super ready for 2023 and feel very optimistic about it, (-8
I'm a bit behind today, it's been a looooong one but I've got a bunch of customs close to being done and a few messages to get back to but I'm moving at a slow pace tonight... (sorry if you've been waiting for me to respond, we had a second computer go rogue and it took quite a bit of work getting things back up and running... but at least it seems all good, (-8 My good'ol desktop is a workhorse that never sleeps so I didn't have such high hopes but it's still trooping on, yay!)
...and I'm happy everyone is enjoying their customs! (-8 I'm having a super blast working on them! Nothing we had planned but I'm super happy I jumped in and gave it a go, (-8

Happy New Years Eve, (-8 After my long day yesterday I sat down to work and promptly fell asleep in front of my laptop, lol... I guess I was wiped out. Though I did get a second wind and have a few pickups coming soon and more today, (-8
I love when I've completely baffled our Youtube algorithm... I've started off todays work with everyone's fav songs from the earlier game, combined with our mixed RPG, pagan, Japanese, rockabilly and nightcore mixes... the poor thing can't pick between cinematic fantasy ballads, k-pop and dwarven soundtracks.
The music in the background makes me wonder if we should do a dwarf event at some point... Pooka and I do have a big dwarf RP game planned and she's done some awesome art for her characters that make me wonder about Sphinxifying some of them... and on thematic topics, I've got a couple of banners made for an event I'd planned for last fall but life interrupted here... Now we won't get to it till after the next Heb but I'm not sure if I should show it off as a 'what's coming next year' preview...?
We're having a low key New Years day here. Both of us are working on art (customs for me and some projects for Pooka...) and I'm making a ham for later, yum!
