So yesterday totally happened! (-8 I had to move the jeep first thing in the morning for a parking lot sweeping (idk if that happens much in the south? we get a huge buildup of sand and salt after the winter...) so I figured I'd get up early and look for somewhere to park...

so I figured I'd look for a place to park somewhere here..



or even here...




So I eventually ended up here...






also the whole forest is in full bloom and I could have spent a week taking flower pictures.

I spent the morning listening to woodpeckers, super loud frogs, ducks and a loon... and, I guess mosquitoes, but it was pretty nice, (-8 ...and I saw a hummingbird that buzzed me! I thought it was some huge bug at first, (-8


I also met a couple, literally in the middle of nowhere, who were putting some kayaks in where I was fishing. We just chatted a bit and the friendly fellow mentioned that he forget his worms back in town so I offered to give him some of mine. He kept trying to pay me and I was having none of that, (-8 just a nice thing to do. Either way before the set off into the water he came back over and gave me an autographed book! Turns out he was taking a day off with his wife from a book signing tour in Sudbury, (-8

So, by the early afternoon I had my limits of a few kinds of fish and a brand new book so headed home early, hoping the parking lot was done (it was.) ... and while I was gone the internet went out. One yummy fish dinner and some roleplaying later, we're all back, (-8

I'll start sorting things out now! Sorry for any confusion between my game and putting up Pooka slots then disappearing! At least Pooka got to and a note from her phone, (-8

I absolutely adore signed books. I'm beginning to get quite the collection from a local independent bookstore. They make me ridiculously happy. That sounds like a great day despite the net being down.
