Take care up there in Canada. We've got the haze here in PA and while it smells like a nice pipe tobacco my dad would go for, man the haze is nuts. That's all my co-workers could really talk about for the past two hours of the shift was the haze and the smell.

*rolls around* I am accomplished. I went through the rest of my bins, found a few other things I can put out for the yard sale, moved said stuff downstairs and all I have to do now is go through the stuff in my closet and if there's anything left in there that I can sell, I'll put it with the other stuff. Any clothes that don't sell, I'll donate. I even found a bag of dog toys. I took one squeaky ball that was in great condition and took it over for our neighbor's dog XD She loves it already. I know there's another bag in the closet, I can get that out and go through that tomorrow as well. I'm glad I took Saturday off because I can do the yard sale, relax once it's done and then Sunday I'm with dad for the gun show.

It was bad yesterday but ran rolled in thismorning and has replaced smoke....with humidity.
Im not sure whats worse o.o
Im crazy busy working away. Guys--the huge fair is a week tomorrow! Im flailing just trying to not only get stuff done, butin a way where im happy. I take SO long completing something because ill start over if I dont like it.
Quick question--will Pooka take any more slots after shes done this batch?

That is an amazing view. It's sad that there's so many fires. Just out of curiosity, were you at some sort of lookout point? Just saw the structure around you and wondered.

as for Pooka slots, we've planned for a few more but we have an appointment that might cut into her timing... so I can't promise for sure.
..and ya, that is our local Fire Tower Lookout, one of the higher hills right here 'in town'. There is still a fire tower there, but nowadays satellites have replaced the need for fire towers, so it's been converted into a tourist stop. The first video (with the noisy bird) was just beside the station on a little trail that goes right to a cliff edge. You can see half of our city in the video... we live right in the middle of a forest, like ewoks. (-8 Also where we live is all rocky and hilly... but what we calls hills many places call mountains! They are not super huge around us but are reminiscent of the Blue Ridge mountains down south... but they give us some awesome views and scenery!
Forest fires happen every year, but they have been getting worse and worse... and we're gonna set records this year. We're already at the third place position for the most area burned by wildfires atm, and the fire season has literally just started, so...
*colours snakes and cats...*

I'm currently wishing it was Autumn. it's too hot atm.

I'm looking forward to going in to work tomorrow as they have air conditioning. Everyone wonders why I never book holidays in the summer and have them mainly booked in spring and autumn.
Air con, that's why. i will gladly freeze in the store in the summer as I don't do heat. XD

Everyone loves the fall leaves, (-8 ...all the green leaves turning red isn't as exciting when you're red/green colourblind, (-8 My fave fall trees are the ones that turn bright yellow, especially the birch trees... ah sooo pretty! Nature is just spectacular and we live in a wonderland of wilderness! ..and now that we have a roof that works again, anyone is welcome to come up here and get free tours, (-8
