One other fun note about history and naming!
The Star Nation is old. Tribes, Kingdoms and Nations have explored, traded, mixed and learned among themselves. Just as real world tribes have moved, evolved and traded, people of the Star Nation have adapted and evolved! History is fun (and I love learning) but we've entered a realm of historical fiction... which makes for easy and fun roleplaying. There's no need to ensure that naming (and some other factors, like clothing, food, religion etc.) are historically accurate to a particular group.
There's no reason a Sphinx with polar bear traits couldn't move to the far south and pass them on to their partner with rattlesnake traits along with naming conventions for their children. Times a few thousand years.

the first thing that came to mind for my girl was she had to have Rainbow in her name then bam Dances With Rainbows came into my head ^_^

seems like everyone is having problems with image hosters? I can't offer any help, sorry, but anyone solves the problem, find a workaround or knows somewhere easier to use I'd bet others would be happy if you shared, (-8
