Keltavi tapped a paw to her chin thoughtfully. “A story about something brave I did,” she asked as she tilted her head to the side. “Oh, I know! It’s one of my favorite stories. I was travelling with my friend when we accidentally entered the lands of this really grumpy king. You see, my friend is a musician, and she’s super talented. So, she travels a lot, and sometimes I go with her to keep her company! This time, though, we got a bit lost and took a wrong path. We didn’t know that we were trespassing, and everyone was super angry about it. There were a lot of soldiers, and they tied our hands up and took us before their king. We were really scared because the king said he would throw us in the dungeon for our crime, but I asked if we could form an exchange instead. Since my friend is such a good musician, I asked if we could entertain him for a while in exchange for passage. After he heard her play, he agreed. So, we stayed there for a week, and I danced while my friend played. Each day, he seemed to be a bit happier, and I would talk to him about his life. His wife and son and daughter had all died in a sickness, which is why he was so grumpy all the time. So, I decided to be his friend, and when we left, I gave him a plushy to keep him company. I’ve never wielded a blade or fought anyone, but I think sometimes speaking to another person is really scary, too! I learned that I could find friends even in unlikely places,” she finished with a smile.

Astlin was a simple drow beggar who learned the ways of the local thieves in her Kingdom. Stealing only enough coin to eat and drink, she eventually befriended a young Noble mage named Camus, and his ranger brother, Ailuin which in turn led her to join an adventuring party that has since added another mage named Alarel, and a dwarf named Garrick. They have ventured on escort missions, dealing with dragons, and various other tough and horrible encounters.
Astlin's biggest heroic feat is one that she keeps secret from even Ailuin and Camus who have come to be as close to her as brothers.
Just one night after celebrating their latest adventure, Astlin was approached by their Kingdom's royal spymaster. They needed an unknown to infiltrate a distant kingdom that had been sending undead to attack them and she was to bring back information. Upon reaching the kingdom, she found that the queen of the land had turned herself into a Lich, and her kingdom was one of various undead beings. She spent days scouting and coming up with a plan. With that plan, she managed to sneak into the Queen's chambers, steal her phylactery, and take it to a safe location to destroy it before she was detected. If she ever spoke of this to her brothers, they would surely praise her heroic deed before lecturing her for the rest of her days. This has, however, led her to steal from the evil that they come across without feeling guilt, preferring now to use her skills for good rather than any true selfish gain like other thieves she knew.

Kestrel was given to a great deal of bravery and she needed it running around with someone as reckless as Kethil. One day they were hunting a necromancer that threatened the kingdom she resided in. Kethil was called to a different problem. She was still hunting the necromancer on her own and ignored the signs it might be too much for her to do. There were a lot of undead to strike down as she started through his tower and she was not backing down for any reason. This was her way to finally defend her kingdom and show just how good she was at doing her chosen job.
She would never back down from a threat to her friends or her kingdom. The wizard himself was a major threat due to how many undead he was creating on a daily. As she made her way through the lower levels of the tower she saw how difficult it could wind up being, but there was no backing down. The undead he created were rather powerful and the ones working for him were even worse. She eventually was facing a powerful vampire that she had to take down to get to the vampire. This vampire was one who had been around for centuries and had a great deal of strength due to this. The two went around for hours before she finally felled the vampire to go for the necromancer.
The necromancer was a powerful combatant and though Kestrel took a great deal of damage he finally fell to her and she was able to go limping back to Kethil to be scolded for being the reckless one for once.
