Rasa and I finally managed to finish our tree today. We normally have it up the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I'm just glad we managed. Had to try to get the geisha in there as I thought our Hanashima friends would appreciate that. XD

Djeret had been in the background for most of the portal hopping, but this last stop… the mess was just too much to ignore, and she started to help clean up. Though she was not from a place that traditionally celebrated Yule on a regular basis, once she had discovered it, she felt a distinct connection to the cheerful holiday. It was her favorite time of year now, and she was quite annoyed at the goblin trying to ruin it!

I've never had singing lights. We did have these neat bubbling candle lights from the 60s or 70s that looked delightful but got waaaay to hot and.. *googles...* oh my, more health warnings than good memories. "if one breaks, evacuate the room until..." OMG, how did I survive up until now!
