Hello everyone! I'm back!
I've missed you all so much - life has been crazy busy, this time last year we got a german shepherd puppy and she totally took over my life with training etc - anyone who's raised a puppy from 8 weeks will know how hard it is xD
But anyway, things are finally calming down on my end and I'd love to get involved here again! ^_^
Has the Heb started yet? What have I missed? How is everyone doing? <3 <3

Hiya Nephthys! (-8 It's great to see you! The Heb is a bit behind schedule but we're aiming for the first of May... which is fast approaching! Our last event is still wrapping up... we got way into it and barged right into our Heb time, (-8 You can see the new stuff in the Mon Island thread, (-8 sphinxes.proboards.com/thread/1082/mon-islandand we're doing well on this end, thank you for asking! ...although it is SNOWING again today... |

Where I am in the UK we've been blessed with some slightly warmer weather and sunnier days - finally! I associate this kind of weather with getting back into Sphinxes stuff as Heb always kicks off around this time |

Ooo, and random semi-off topic pet segue...
I've been playing a couple of games with our cat for months now and they are a never ending entertainment for me! First, he's got this squeaky mouse toy that I started putting up on his cat tree all the time... but only when he's not in the room. Every time he finds it he goes a bit crazy and bats it all over until he knocks if off of his stuff, lol... then he just stares at it on the floor and you can see him trying to figure the whole thing out...
Also, he has a hard ball with a bell which makes a unique noise when you roll it. I used to only roll it in his direction when he couldn't see me, like from around a corner and down the hall. The thing is he figured out this particular game and turned it around! Now, sometimes, usually when I'm in our little kitchen, I'll just hear the ball rolling in there towards me! It would almost be like from a horror movie, (there's always a ghost kid who rolls a ball out of the darkness...) except sometimes you see his little paw pop out just around the corner to push the ball in, (-8

...and the snow... I just don't know... It's just weirdly cold, snowy and windy here since yesterday. It was summer weather a couple days ago! (also we've been watching tons of UK videos, especially city walkthroughs, for our current RPG, (-8)

I cannot imagine a heatwave atm... I'm bundled up in a hoodie under a blanket and I keep sneaking my hands under there between certing/typing to warm up!
I think I'd go with a 50/50 trade and balance it out for both of us, (-8

Eeeeeee!! Puppy!! Congrats and good luck with the little raptor XD My one cousin and her husband got a german shepherd puppy last year and he is adorable. I'm sure training is going well, even if a handful. I have no pets with me at the moment since I had to move back in October and Blake went back to Rich and Roseann, the breeders we got him from. It was...for the best and while I do agree with their reasoning on it...I MISS MY SNUGGLE BUDDY!!!

Hello Rayvin and Angel!! I've missed you both too! *squishes both* it feels so good to be back. ^_^ Haha she is a little raptor alright xD training is soooo much work, constantly, 24/7, for months, lmao but hoping it'll all be worth it in the end! She had her 1 year birthday on the 14th, so hopefully only a couple more years now and she may be mature enough to start acting less like a raptor and more like a normal dog (fingers crossed) xD I will show some pics when I get home, (visiting parents at the mo) maybe I'll start a new thread for it so I don't clutter this one with too many pictures  |
