We get radio like that... when it's foggy we get way better reception from some stations, including quite distant American ones... a bit weird, and I know nothing of the science, but you'd figure there'd be more interference?
We watched the parade via some Youtube livestreams through the roku player, (-8

Hope everyone had a great holiday!  We missed the Macy's parade because we didn't want to go out in the rain for that many hours, but the live streaming of it was awesome ^^ Some really cool floats! We're definitely already playing the holiday music on full blast now lol |

Idk what it is about giant balloons that makes me want to see them irl sometime, (-8 ...could use a giant Sphinx balloon now that I think of it...
We're also doing all the festive atm. Tree is up and the house is nicely decorated, (-8 We've also been watching all the bad holiday movies that come out every 8 seconds this time of year... though the last one we watched was soooo funny and I'm sure everyone's already seen memes about it, and I highly recommend it for all it's silliness, (-8 Check out Hot Frosty! It's ridiculous and it knows it... and leans right into it making it work, (-8
oh, and somehow we're missing all the blizzards like we're in a protected pocket of the universe... huge parts of the province are dealing with city shutdowns, several feet of snow and plenty of whiteouts... even the biggest city to the west (just a couple hours away) was closed down for a day... but here, just a festive light dusting, (-8
