Here and there along the route small homes started to come into view. You must be getting closer to Quietturn. Eventually the burg came into view, and it was a lovely sight! The burg was decorated in banners, ribbons and lights.. all of a fiery nature. There must be a festival starting, a fire festival!
Sphinxes of the town were dressed in reds, oranges and yellows as they stood atop ladders tying ribbons to lamp posts. Stalls were being set up and in the town center logs were being placed for a huge bonfire that would probably be lit later on into the evening.
A sphinx with a flaming tail approaches the group. "Well howdy! I reckon y'all are here for the festival, or are you here for the gym?" |

Aponi perked up "I like the idea of a fire festival! What do you say Blaze?"
Her pupsear barked in response happily

"Well' said the fiery sphinx 'I reckon you can be here for both!" she smiles "Name's Cinnamon and I'm currently acting as gym leader in this here burg of Quietturn." she tips her hat. "I'll wrangle up a few challenge ideas, maybe something to do with the festival tonight. The challenge would need to hold for a short while until evening."
She points a paw towards a large building with a gatcha capsule symbol on top. "Until then, why not rest up your mons at the Mon Center."

 Late to the party (no doubt distracted by tinkering on something, if the smoking potion bottle in her paw was any indication), Makalos approaches, giving each tiny creature a once-over glance. "Hey, I'm Makalos, and I'm all about concoctions and experiments. Intrigued to see what ingredients this place might hold in store for me," she says with an excited, slightly unhinged glint in her eye. She ponders for a moment before focusing on a male Pupsear. "I think you'll do very nicely for my purposes, I could use a little flame now and then! I'll call you Sulfur." (Pupsear - Male - nickname Sulfur - attached, please <3) "So! You want the fire Mon, Pupsear!"   |

'Ah, great!' His eyes lit up at the site of the center. He started to walk over but paused mid step.
'Miss Cinnamon, do you need help with setting anything up? My uncle would kill me if I didnt ask..hes the fire gym leader in (insert far away region here).
