Alexander purred and for the first time, he too felt a bit of warmth and colour entering his cheeks. To know that she felt the same way about him too, well... that was wonderful. Would this be a good time to...? He leaned towards her slowly and kissed her delicate lips, allowing her to be in control to push him away if she wanted. But when the kiss was over, he realised he still didn't know everything he could about Saphira. He had talked about himself quite a bit... And now he felt like relaxing and listening to her.
"So.. Saphira," He began. "What are your family like? I hope they are better than what little family I've got." He chuckled happily.
Parvati nodded along with Dresden as he spoke, reassuring Morgan. She still couldn't believe that one as regal looking as her, could have suffered such things. It just wasn't fair. But at least she was happier now, Parvati guessed. "My family?" She blushed a little. "We're just a... fairly ordinary family, I guess. We live on a farm, my two brothers, my mother and father. Mostly my two brothers do all the really hard work with the crops and such, and I'm taught sewing... boring!" She laughed a little. "And my parents of course will hardly ever let me out of the house. They don't trust me at all, since I.. Since I..." She looked away and changed the subject. "But anyway, my brothers are growing quite old now, and I think they are getting to big for our little lifestyle! They want to go out into the world and explore a bit. But our father uses them especially, as a means of free labour. It's not right at all. So, sometimes I just run away to places like these, just to teach them a lesson! Though I fear that if my brothers ever leave, all the farm work will be up to me to take care of... and I couldn't stand that!" She shook her head of bouncy white curls, giggling softly. "No, no, not at all- Oh!" Her ears pricked up and she turned her attention to a small group of sphinxes who looked like they were about to organise something. "Is there going to be dancing involved? I love dancing!" She exclaimed, not quite sure who she was talking to or who would hear.
((Really want to role play this girl. Might as well add her in.))
 Alice's nose could sniff out the scent of any party. And she was... well, nosy. She was lead to the gathering of sphinxes, which by now had grown quite large. Everyone knew that she preferred the more intimate gatherings, but this was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. As she entered (it appeared that all were invited) she held her ornamented head high, confident of her status. Then she merged with the crowd and came out in a small clearing at the edge of the room. Her wide red eyes stared about her, soaking it all up, hoping that someone would speak to her. She was not usually one to approach others, especially not at parties, as she just was not good at that sort of thing. But she looked forward to the conversations she would hopefully have. She knew full well that one such as herself was an interesting sight and was sure to attract attention, which she would welcome. |

 Saphira felt the soft warmth of Alexanders lips against her own and purred, the kiss had been unexpected but was welcomed. Saphira paused and took a deep breath as if she was preparing to tell a long story "As far as my parents go from what ive been told I was an only child, an unplanned birth and was born into poverty, my parents tried to do there best to care for me but it was hard to find a job and after 3 years of struggling they made the hard choice to give me up. they found an older couple they knew of who lived just outside of town that had never been blessed with a child, I grew up to call this couple my parents and lived with them on there small farm. After i turned 14 my adoptive parents fell very ill and told me the story of how i came to them, the illness was strong and they died shortly after. I inherited the small farm and lived there alone but was only old enough to take small side jobs and eventually I had to sell off the livestock and most of the land to help pay for expenses." she look at Alexander and smiled lightly "I was alone for so long, I think that is why having a big happy family appeals to me so much, To just be surrounded by people who love and care for you and who need you to love and care for them."She smiled at the thought, she had more to say more to tell him but she paused to let him gather his thoughts about everything she had already said. |

Alex was very relieved that Saphira responded well to his kiss, and he listened to what she had to say. "Wow, that must be scary..." He began thoughtfully. "If that was me, I wouldn't know who I was, or where I had come from. You must be very brave, Saphira." He nodded slowly. "Actually, it makes perfect sense that you would want a bigger and better family now. If... any children were involved, they would always know that there would be someone there to look after them, which is the benefit of it. They would therefore never have to feel like you probably felt, to be always feeling vulnerable, unsure and unstable." He muttered. He then waited a bit, as it seemed that Saphira had something else that she wanted to say.

Saphira smiled she was glad Alexander understood,she cleared her throat a bit before starting to speak again, "The only family i have left are my clan members and my son." she hesitated a bit before starting again trying to gauge Alexanders reaction to this last bit of news. " I dont get along with or even like all the members of my clan but besides my son they are they closest thing i have to a family. My Son, I dont even know that well, i know that sounds terrible but we have only had 6 months together, He was born as an adult from the magical fires of Beltane." Saphira sighed heavily " I love my son he is a great blessing but he is an adult and dosent really need me for much, though i try my best to be there when he dose. He is another reason i want a big family, I want to give him the family he would of had, had he been given to me as a cub." she smiled and then sighed lightly feeling good to have gotten that off her chest. |

"A son?" Alex'a eyes widened slightly. "I never would have expected..." Saphira looked fairly young to him. "Well, that is wonderful! You must have been so happy to be blessed with him." He paused, and looked awkwardly to one side. "But now he is a grown up. That sounds... hard. But I'm sure he loves you, Saphira. I mean, who wouldn't." He blushed a little at his own words. "And I think... well, it's nice that you want a large family, but... you'd have to be careful who to include in it. Some people can become very cruel and envious when they seem lovely to start off with, and it sounds like you are kind of desperate for this family... For good reasons, I am sure. I just... don't want you to feel tempted to rush into anything, and potentially spoil your happiness." He said softly. He hoped Saphira wouldn't be offended, but it just occurred to him that perhaps he should mention this, just in case she hadn't thought about it already.

Saphira sighed "He was born an adult he was never a cub, it was hard but yes a blessing and i know to be careful." she smiled at Alexanders concern "Though,if a certain strong and brave hoplite was in that family he might not have to worry so much about me being careful he could just make sure and be there to protect us instead." she said very teasingly while blushing. (sorry the reply took so long XD ) |

"Brave? Strong? Are you talking about me?" Alex inquired, laughing as he did so. He then blushed at what she said next. "Well, it would soothe my nerves... And I'm sure there would be more benefits to being in your family than just that!" He smiled, a flirtatious look creeping into his eyes.

Saphira laughed "Of course im talking about you, theres not another hoplite around here is there?" she pretends to look around for one " nope just one that i can see." she said smiling at him "And of course there will be other benefits to being a family, with me" her words hung in the air heavy with implication and there was a flirtatious glint in her eyes. |

"I find that curiousity is stirring more and more within me!" Alexander chuckled. "Yet I know that I would have to join you to really know what it was like... And I wonder how you feel sure you can trust me? I mean, we only just met!" He raised an eyebrow, giving a mock evil looking glare. He knew of course that he had a good heart and that she could trust him, but he chuckled to himself as he pondered what her reaction to this would be. In all seriousness though, sometimes it never hurt to be too careful!

Sphira smiled "well i dont usually dont tell people this but you could say i sort of have a sixth sense, i guess?" she thought for a moment before taking again "It started about when i was 5, its not anything big really but when im in close proximity to someone i can sense there intentions/emotions. Its vague though sometimes i get more detail through touch." she looked at him waiting for his reaction |

(Once again sorry I haven't posted here recently >.<)  Morgan nodded softly to them both and let herself relax a little "I thank you both. There are times I wish to seek them out and let them see what I've become, but still being a peasant, I would not want them to see me as a peasant. Then again I'd love to curse them. She chuckled softly, but turned her attention to the other to listen, but she turned her attention towards Syrena as the word of a game was announced. "Hmmm...that could be fun." Syrena let out a slight snort as no one seemed to answer her, though she glanced to Niaz and nodded. "Well we would need more than three. If we could get maybe four or five more players...it would be good." she grinned |

Alex's eyes widened. "Oh! That's... unusual? But helpful, I suppose. I'm glad you're putting it to good use, on me." He chuckled. "So I suppose... you can tell that I would never do anything to hurt you, right?" He looked at her seriously and then blushed a little at what he'd said. Of course he had feelings for her, and this sixth sense probably allowed her to know that.
"Curse them?" Parvati looked slightly afraid, but as she thought about it, she started to look more and more intruiged. "Can... can you do that? To people?" Now her face was the picture of curiousity. She was rather naiive and was still fascinated by the world and everything in it. "Yes, it could be, I suppose..." Parvati trotted up to Syrena and asked, "What sort of game will this be? I would love to know." She smiled charmingly, momentarily forgetting that she was talking to someone who was higher in rank than herself. "All I know is that I'm in the mood for a dance at least?" She giggled. "You two! Over here!" She called to Dresden and Morgan, wondering if they too were interested enough to join her.
Alice watched as the commotion unfolded. A game sounded... interesting. But she'd have to see what it was going to be before even considering joining in with something like that.

saphira looked to the ground hearing the word unusual "yea its not usually some thing, i talk about, most sphinxes find it odd to say the least, though its a very small mild power compared to some ugh....things my clan mates can do." she laughed a bit before continuing "yes, i can tell you wouldn't hurt me , i try to limit using my gift by only seeking out intentions for example to find out if one is a good person or not, i dont usually use my gift to sense feelings unless im asked to or have permission to do so otherwise i feel as if im intruding."  Niaz grined widly at Syrena"i think i could help with that" he dashed off and started talking to a few other sphinxes. some where seen shaking there head in rejection of the idea while a few others were One by one pointed in the direction of Syrena.  "so what kind of game we talking here?" he asked giving a wicked smile  Mayjora walked over "Niaz said you guys needed players for a game? what are we playing?" calder approached giving a slight bow to Syrena "Im not Verra good at Gemms, buh i'll try meh best."Niaz looking around for more people and noticed Alice standing by herself among the crowd. so Naiz approached her "Hey were getting ready to play a game, dont know exactly what were plying yet but that just makes it all the more fun." he grinned at her "would you like to join us?"  Dresden glanced to Morganas he heard her talk of them game, then He looked over to were Parvati was beckoning them from and noticed his younger half brother among the would be game players and let out a low growl "I think it might be better for everyone if i stayed over here." he said as he glared at Beau. ((so I threw in dresdens recently found younger half brother in here, even though he was already asked about his family and such and he said he didnt know if he had any siblings but i really wanted to rp him so yea sorry for the confusion a bit XD and wow that was a lot of sphinxes to cover phew im tired lol )) |
