 It seemed like only a few moments had gone by, when in fact it had actually been a few hours since Sabah and her wife Hemuset had a blast from the past with Hemusets sister Meryaten showing up. It had been a very emotional occasion for sabahs dear wife hemuset. Though sabah was happy for her. To find out a sister you thought was dead was still alive was great news. Though sabah fretted abit that hem might still be in shock "Hemuset, my love why dont you come sit with me and Ta-Shera?" Sabah settled into her favorite cushion on the floor once again holding there new cub and she relaxed "Are you alight my love? I know Meryaten showing up must have been a bit overwhelming for you." Little did they know there would be one more visit to there door, another blast from the past was yet to arrive but this time Sabah would be the one in shock. |

Hemuset sat next to Sabah. "I must admit, my head is still reeling. Did that really happen? Did I really just now see and talk with Meryaten? Was she really here at our home?" Shaking her head as if to clear it, Hem looked down upon their cub held securely in Sabahs arms. "Ahh, my beloved wife, you are truly a blessing to me. I cannot imagine life without you next to me and by my side, raising our cub." She placed a paw upon Sabah's face and softly kissed her.

"Yes it really happened my love,sit and rest clear your head a bit." Sabah smiled at hem and returned her soft kiss "I could not imagine my life without you or Ta-Shera ether my love." she looked down at there cub and smiled in pure happiness.

 Neteru slowly walked up to the door and paused she had not see sabah in 5 years,not since the faithful day they left the village. Neteru remembered the day well, the group of them set off in there destined directions to figure out where they were truly ment to be. Some would never return finding there places else where, others would find there true calling was back at there village and return home.She paced lightly back and forth wondering if sabah would even remember her. She hoped that she would after all they had been good friends for at least 10 years even before they were..... Neteru stopped and gently shook herself out of the memories and feelings that went with them. Those times were all in the past now ....... Neteru took a deep slow breath and then knocked lightly on the door.... |

Hemuset heard the soft knock on the door and got up to get it . Looking over her shoulder as she grasped the handle, she said to Sabah, "Its probably Meryaten again. I'll see what she wants." Opening the door wide chucking Hemuset spoke. "Already back for another chat Mery? I swear..I haven't quite gotten over the shock of.....OH Sorry!!! I thought you were someone else! Can I help you?"

Neteru stood in shock a moment looking over the sphinx that answered the door. was this sabahs wife? she thought to herself, she had heard that sabah had gotten married but deep down she had hoped that....neteru swallowed hard pushing the ache in her chest out of her mind. finally she spoke "im sorry to bother you but dose sabah live here?"

Sabah was still laying on her favorite cushion with Ta-Shera when Hem answered the door. she couldnt really hear or see what was going on. so she called lightly hoping hem would hear her and that she would not startle Ta-Shera, "Hem is everything ok who is it?"

Immediately on guard, Hemuset became very defensive and blocked the open door with her body, her fur standing out all puffed out like an enraged cat. "I'm sorry, who are you?" Slightly turning her head Hemuset softly spoke over her shoulder, hoping her words would clue her love into possible danger. "I do not know this one, and do not trust her. She's asking for Sabah. Would you place our cub in her crib and get my sword?" |

The sphinx at the door suddenly seemed on edge and very defensive, oh dear this was not what she intended on happening "oh please forgive my rudeness, i do not mean anyone harm i swear, my name is Neteru im a very old uh....friend of sabahs from our tribe we grew up together."

Hemuset heard Sabah place Ta-Shera into the crib and began to slightly relax. She would lay her life down for both her wife and child. Calling over her shoulder, Hemuset softly asked Sabah, "Do you know of any of Sabah's friends? This one claims to be a friend, and says her name is Neteru." Looking back over at the woman at the door she sensed a distinct unease coming from her. |

Neteru? Sabah couldnt believe she had just heard that name. She walked briskly to the door to see if it was truly her. when she got there and saw Neteru standing there in front of her she stood unsure of how to greet her. she had not seen her in what 3,4 no it had to about 5 years now. sabah wonderd if neteru was upset with her for never returning, so many thoughts and memories flooded her mind. she turned to hemuset and calmly placed a hand on her shoulder "it is ok my love, she is indeed a....friend". she turned to Neteru an smiled lightly "good evening neteru,Its been a long time. would you like to come in?"

Hemuset relaxed a bit, but noticed the pause in Sabah's voice when she said Neteru was a friend. Wondering what she meant by that, Hemuset slid her arm possessively around Sabah and held her close. Looking at Neteru, Hemuset simply stated, "Sorry. Being out on the seas has left me wary of strangers. My wife here is very special to me."

Neteru winced slightly at the word friend but she had expected as much with Sabah being married now. she smiled lightly at the 2 though her heart ached seeing Hemusets arm placed around Sabah. "I would indeed like to come in if its no trouble she replied to Sabah." then turning to Hemuset "its ok no worries i understand that you wish to protect your family." she smiled.

Sabah backed up slightly to the side of Hem giving Neteru enough space to come in, then she closed the door behind her. "please have a seat if you like Neteru." Sabah turned to hem "Hemuset my love, Neteru is from the village were i grew up." turning back to Neteru "I have not seen you in so long how have you been?"
