Okay, today's work is done. I completed a new class (both M and F), and a few other nifty things. ^_^ Then for fun made avatars/siggies for Mr. Pooka and myself.

So what you're saying is I should dust off my FV account? Generally a bit of an intro thread. Pop in, say 'hi', show off/give away some sphinxes and aim people towards where games are going on, etc. Mostly just testing the waters to see how it works out. It's the plan to try this at least. I didn't get too much done today, but I did get a difficult animation for the banner completed. XD You know, because that's important. >.> I also fixed/finished up a signature for Mr. Pooka and myself. I'll probably show those soonish. They're not really based around this year's theme, so it's no giveaway. XD Although I will be making another one of my (yet un-disclosed) host sphinx for during the event. I like to have avatars/signatures/accounts for each Heb's host sphinxes. It kinda adds something I think. |

Ahhhh you've got me so curious what this year's theme will be, I'm excited! Also excited to see these new signatures, I always love those. ;u;

I hope that the alerts for a thread on FV has changed away from a new ping with every response. O.o
But yep, thrilled with this year's theme, and it's taking a ton of work, but so worth it. We have a huge 'to do' list for templates (I don't know if I can actually get all of them done. Heh.) and have the background story all written up.

Got me really curious as you the theme this year. Although a bit early for spoilers I can say I’ve been searching past years to essentially narrow down the options that are swirling around in my head. I have to say though, you two always do a great job with surprises. Especially after last years blowout! 😊
Your piece of Malixen is just wonderful too! I always adore seeing humanoid versions of characters.
Also, I am adoring Eiko in Sphinx form! 💜

Mmkay, that drawing is soo like her, from what ive seen. She did a great job!
Im curious with the theme too, though unfortunately (or is it fortunately?) my mind wont be all in one place this year so ill pop by as often as I can ^^
Merf..that reminds me. Is it ok to post a sketch thing here I did for my fiancé's birthday? Im still soo amused by it that I want to share. Its based off of IRL jokes between me, him and my dad and is startrek related ^^
...Also. Have window open cause its relatively mild out and I need air. Lots of bird calls....including one very distinct one. I look out my window.
The crazy birds are back >< Grackles..bullying the other birds, standing on the very tips of the trees on their high horse intimidating others not to show up.
Its one sign that spring is unofficially here.

It was the smoothest run Heb that we've ever had, and the theme was fun. Especially if you consider that I pulled up the theme idea nearly at the last minute. XD This year should be fun, I have a bunch of things planned and am starting early to try and get everything I can done for this. I'm so thrilled with the picture. I really love seeing other people's art/takes on my characters. Oh you saw Eiko huh? I think she turned out cute. :3 BTW, we figured out a bit of a way to touch upon some copyrighted material without crossing the line, but it still keeps them off of the list for customs. I was hesitant to make Eiko due to that, and I have hubby writing up a big intro to copyrights and what we can and can't do. (ie. if there are no gains whatsoever for something copyrighted, including gains from trading, it's considered more as fan art.) Some companies (but not all) allow fan art of their property. (Pokemon is one of them that allows it.) It will be more clear when hubby finishes his copyright thread/notice. Unless theres an option in profile to turn it off, im afraid not. I'll have to see if there is an option to turn that off. Noooo, I wasn't able to! I was lucky enough to randomly get the oil cats from the boxes, and bred the lower rarity ones, but couldn't get the SR. You have a very busy time coming up. You must be so very excited, well excited and exhausted. Of course you can show the picture here. Yay! Spring! We know it's spring when the roof starts leaking again. XD |

Humm… Well, watch out for this cat. Its loosing its fish! Also, let me know if you do find a way to turn that off o.o Im used to it but it would still be nice to have a toggle. So, I like tribbles..dads a Klingon and we have an actual tribble dad puts in the 'time out' chair by the tv. No matter what I did this year, something happened or fell apart, and I don't have the resources to do anything grand this year for obvious reasons. So I came up with this. First frame is me in the living room trying to wrap a gift. Tribble is curious in the background. I leave to grab something and like a nosy little thing, decides to investigate. I think the rest explains itself. Last frame is a 'bit' rough because my wrist went. I meant for it to be like a cleaned up sketch but that too kind of fell through in the end >< Still...couldn't stop chuckling yesterday. I refuse to show dad >> |

Also, I am adoring Eiko in Sphinx form! 💜 If it helps narrow things down, I have over 30 sub-folders (with notes, samples, ideas) in my Worlds/Settings Sphinx ideas, (-8 Mr. Pooka being helpful...  We had sooooo much fun last year and I think this year should be awesome... I mean Pooka's banner alone gets me excited! and I love Eiko too... I'm so looking forward to playing Mr. Ito around these parts as well. He's a character, (-8 Did you watch the Trouble with Edward minitrek? Canon or not, I was pretty entertained, (-8 even if some people got worked up about it. On that topic has anyone been watching Star Trek Picard? I'm enjoying that one as well though with some pretty serious (spoilery) critiques... Also I've been de-photobucketing and generally tiding up all about the site (both here and smugmug) if anyone notices little things changing or moving... just me! *gets back to ninja fixes in the background* |
