and I love Eiko too... I'm so looking forward to playing Mr. Ito around these parts as well. He's a character, (-8 I was nearly trying to convince Mr. Pooka that Sabburo's class should be 'Eccentric Billionaire' instead of 'monster hunter'. XD That should give you a clue to what he's like. |

Yes and yes! The boys are finding it hard to get into Picard but its getting interesting for me. I really did enjoy last weeks episode...I think its the best one soo far  Then again, I could be a bit biased. Why? *envokes River Song* Spoilers! |

also I think eccentric billionaire would be a fun class ' hugs tony sphinx and snickers '
if anyone watches Lego masters with Will Arnett other than me, I'd love someone to chat with about it , its such a crazy amazing thing what they can do with those bricks

'hidden lair in a volcano on a private island overrun with genetically altered dinosaurs to keep out trespassers' eccentric. O.o BTW, I think that I finished this year's cat's template today. I want to take a look at it again tomorrow with fresh eyes to make sure that it doesn't need any tweaking before I'm sure. |

lol he sounds like a super fun character
I think the MCU kind of dampened down what tony is capable of doing , the comics version of him is way more outrageous and such I mean he made a motorcycle that turns into an iron man suit

XD Very true. I never really read much Iron Man though, I was more of an X-men/EXcalibur sort of comics with Marvel.
Half of the time in the RP it wasn't positive if he was the ally or villain. XD He wound up becoming a bit of a patron for the gang, which apparently was so very different then his original concept. For a time there was a plot planned where he was going to kidnap Eiko, who kept refusing him, and take her to his lair in an attempt to win her over. Then the adventure would be the rest of the gang having to fight their way through his island to rescue her. lol But she finally relented to him before that plan of his came to fruition. >.>
He has a building in downtown Tokyo that is filled with mad scientists doing experiments for him, many highly illegal. (ie. genetic alterations/cloning for one.)
Then on top of that he's running around fighting vampires and other evil monsters on the sideline. O.o Again.. I was unsure if he's the hero or villain.
I so badly want to say more about my husband's character, but I think he wants to keep it hush for RP purposes.

I’m watching all things Star Trek. Enjoying Picard for the most part but I have some critiques of my own on it. Looking forward to the new season of Discovery coming out too.

YAY! So many people are popping in now. <3
BTW, the topic of this year's Heb is pretty much constant conversation in this house. We're very seriously plotting, planning and working on it.
Also, Mr. Pooka is prepping to run an RP for Eiko and Mr. Ito (trying to decide on who else to bring in, possibly Mayolin (Phae/Kezzer daughter).). It's apparently an exploration/archaeology adventure. We are talking about actually RPing them back and forth between the home game and the sphinx RP background. It should be fun. ^_^
I have a blast making profiles on the side and keep pondering whose to make next. Maybe Ini? Or Mayolin? Maybe Clementine? I'm thinking of another Yama Sugi Outlaw profile since they seem to be bunching up in that part of the thread, right under the YSO description.

I'm so thrilled with how last year turned out. It was the smoothest run Heb that we've ever had, and the theme was fun. Especially if you consider that I pulled up the theme idea nearly at the last minute. XD This year should be fun, I have a bunch of things planned and am starting early to try and get everything I can done for this. ... I'm so thrilled with the picture. I really love seeing other people's art/takes on my characters.  ... Oh you saw Eiko huh? I think she turned out cute. :3 ... Yay! Spring! We know it's spring when the roof starts leaking again. XD I can only imagine how great Heb is going to be this year given the amount of planning and preparation having gone into it already in contrast to what is described from last! Always love seeing new things and of course having fun in Sphinxy RPs! Speaking of character art...  Been eyeing Mione’s art for ages! I’m really pleased with her human rendition of Bhindi. Even as a sketch it’s just darling! 💜 Cams sneaks around in the profiles when she sees that others have made new posts! X3 Oh fum! I do hope it’s not a terrible leak! Always know it’s spring around here when the wind picks up. |

I found the spot on FV to edit the pings so they're grouped as one for message boards. Go to 'user settings' and scroll down to 'notifications'. Click on 'individual notifications for subscribed threads' and you'll have options to group them or turn them off. Tah dah. I haven't tested it yet, so I'm not 100% if this is it, but it looks like it. |

I should .. actually update my profiles but I've been in a bit of a creative black hole since the holidays. I blame my former PTU (Pokemon Tabletop United) group. Well not the whole group.. just the one guy.
To that end I no longer get to play Harper or Mackenzie. My two characters from the storyline/arcs of that server as I left it. The former GM leaned too much on me and one other to carry the workload and we never got to play. Sad times. SO I don't have that.
UHM.. I am with some of those players through in a different game. We call it the 'anime' game. But it's based on a tabletop game turned animated story season turned open tabletop. The show in question is HILARIOUS and I want the next season so bad; Epithet Erased. Our group.. is different. We keep teasing Paul because he's playing another dodgy shadow guy with questionable ethics and not always the BEST ideas guy. its really hilarious but is a once a week game. Sadness.
UHM.. what else. Oh Paul's car effectively died last week. So.. we had to go get him a "new" car. (see "new = used but less miles/newer model year/different manufacturer"). Which.. sucks. BUT at least he doesn't have the Nissan anymore. I hated that car and I further solidified my dislike for their company as a whole last week.
And.. YEA. that's me. Just hiding under my rock. XD <3 Missing you all. But happy to see people puttering about!

I’m watching all things Star Trek. Enjoying Picard for the most part but I have some critiques of my own on it. Looking forward to the new season of Discovery coming out too. I'm excited about new Discovery as well! As for Picard, I'm enjoying the storyline and deep delve into Romulan culture but... Using spoiler tags for actual spoilers, Don't Read if you are not caught up on Star Trek Picard! I could totally do without the smoking and drug use, especially among the main characters... It feels extremely out of place and wrong in the Trek Universe. I do have one other critique but it might just be a Canadian thing...
I haven't seen this but I do love his Lego Batman, (-8 I'd love to write up a profile for him! Sabi is one of the most entertaining characters I've played in a while, and I loved the the whole Yamisugi Outlaw game so very much that is saying something! I feel like I could write novels and a whole RP setting easily... and I love the Bhindi art! I've got (and am still building) a really fun Katterheim folder and expect to see her enjoying herself around those parts! (-8 I never seen this either! *adds to list* I find my creativity seems to come and go in waves... the same for arting on Sphinxes, writting roleplaying games or any creative thing. Pooka and I both have different things that inspire us and help recharge our 'Glamour' (A changeling the dreaming ref.)... The only problem is that we both recharge in different ways so it's tricky to sync up! (give me some good books/comics, fav fantasy movies and/or time outdoors in the wilderness/nature and my creative batteries are good to go!) I like to think that everyone has something that will boost them out of those creative slumps! Ours just died to and that's project number one for me today, heading out to see if I can make it go again... We need to stock up on a few things before the whole of Canada heads into some sort of quarantine... *heads out to pretend I know how to mechanic things* |
