Meh, for an update I didn't get to anything art-wise today. But I was able to prep for home RP and sorted through some old filing cabinet drawers. SO MUCH old art, and so many old ones that I tossed out. O.o I'm talking nearly 20 year old pictures here, many that were for other people who I don't even remember now. Interestingly I found the first picture of Phae'shalee in there. ^_^ (not tossed, obviously. ^^; )
ETA: Oh, BTW it's White Day today in Japan. It's a month after Valentine's where the men give the women presents (because in Japan valentines is for women to give the men chocolate.) I joked that Mr. Pooka should give me something, but he gave me things for valentine's day so he's off the hook. ;P But he was going to make a cake, but then his birthday is in two days so I'll make him a cake then instead.

And it’s fitting given the present I gave the hubster for Valentines this year. I decorated a shoe box like a dinosaur and then slapped a Jurassic park teeshirt and literally five pounds of his favorite chocolate kisses inside. >.> I went a little overboard. The first step to recovery is admitting it, right? We’ve still got about half of the box left. Anyhow I’ll have poke him about White day. XD Happy early birthday Mr. Pooka!! Hi everyone! Seems like Retta and I had the same idea today.  I'm TOTALLY obsessed with the new Swallowtail gene on PI. I can't stop genning pairs! I'm DYING to get a Sphinx with the marking though I'll have a hard time choosing which project or pony to base it on. Wolfy and I are trying to figure out how to use it to make the Triplets! I briefly scanned a few of the posts. I'm still active on FV. I also saw pair 5000! Are we really up to that many Sphinxes?! So awesome! |

Thanks for the birthday wishes, (-8 I've got a lasagna already planned for tomorrow! ...and Pooka already mentioned the White Day/Birthday crossover super important cake discussion, (-8 (Two cakes in two days? ...could have been a good option but how much cake is to much cake?) We're gonna make a cake based on a similar one I 'invented' a couple of years ago which was as fun as it was delicious, (-8 I might have to take some pics if it turns out as well as last time! I do not have the willpower to even watch Pooka sort her stuff. That sounds awesome, (-8 and just the right amount of overboard.. or maybe I'm just an chocolate enabler... I've been wrangling dinosaur themed presents for every holiday I can for Pooka lately, (-8 that sounds both fun and awesome! I wish I could get into a writing zone with some of our character stories... and I love your art thread, (-8 roleplaying is totally Pooka art fuel as well and I'm setting up an appropriate themed game for Pooka in the background while she works on Heb costumes and art projects! what does the swallowtail gene look like? would someone mind posting a pic? (I suffer from a bit of a PI allergy and already hit my limit checking out a cool art thread...) We are just about there, but not quite. We're actually in our mid 3000's (not counting some Space Adventurers from the future! (-8) but 5000 is a special number for this particular pair so they got to jump ahead a bit! It's fairly appropriate, especially being that Mr. Ito doesn't do anything at all the way anyone might think they should be done, (-8  and Pooka also made me a Chiko! ...coming soon to all of the most fashionable Sphinx events... I'm a little intimidated by it. lol But I should be able to re-produce it. Cameron Most of them were scanned years ago, like Phae's first picture WARNING: censored nudityDrew that back in early '04. But the vast majority of ones I'm tossing were gifts for people whose names I don't even remember now, and mostly were unappreciated anyhow. Like art I had made for a so-called 'friend' who I discovered was only friends with me so she could get art and items on neopets. -_- Saw those and just ''nope'... toss'. There were a few that made me grit my teeth before tossing them onto the pile, but I really don't need unused neopets character designs for any reason. I'm so excited about being able to RP again. It's been really hard waiting for weeks for Mr. Pooka to set the story up. |
