They just closed my school amid Wuhan Flu (this is what I call COVID-19) concerns. That means I'm out of work until further notice. Luckily, I got in most of my work week before it happened as I only work 2 days a week. I'm really worried about my parents being exposed to it since they have so many health challenges. I guess I'll be able to catch up on some sleep and chores. We'll see. EDIT: Mr. Pooka She's wonderful, Mr. Pooka. Makes me think of someone who's one "H@#$ of a Butler." |

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Baked goods. I've been watching too much of The Great British Baking Show. All I want is CAKE! XD Retta has some Gingerbread to make, but I'm not a huge fan. I may make some chocolate chip pumpkin bread. Gluten free. We'll see.

As far as baked goods go ive got some aussie bites giving me a bit of fiber and stuff. They fill you up quick too and they are really good.
These are Costco, but there are a few recipies for them online. I highly recommend it.

Yep. Gluten free. I've taken to keeping AP Gluten Free flour in the house so I can cook for my boss whenever the bug strikes me.  |

youre awesome. You know that, right? My family still 'forgets' about the allergies sometimes though mom does atleast try. Even if its a fail. Still A+ for effort.
We were just talking about some chocolate. You know its a fly over the head when the males don't get why the females are 'allowed' a small amount >>

Somehow I've never seen that yet!? I'm going to have to start watching extra Anime when I sleep to see if I can absorb more media while I'm just wasting time sleeping...

and baking/cooking is an awesome past time for current events! Just plain a good reason to make some basics and a great excuse to work on some of those super elaborate/long/intensive cooking projects and everything in between, (-8 Oh and if anyone gets stuck at home missing their usual staples or without a key ingredient I do have lots of cool 'pantry' recipes and ideas to use almost anything, plus we've got a lot of wonderful cooks around here for ideas, (-8
I'd stocked up on starchy foods and breads just before things went crazy but I'll be out soon and back to my regular baking... *has been wanting to make cookies and missing my regular homemade bread...*
I'll need to make a Yuichi profile too... she's as quirky as she is adorable and would be fun to write up!

Ooo I have also been baking and making other things alot, made banana cookies, apple cookies and just finished a dutch apple pie last night. Just to name a few recent things. Also made some orange marmalade as well. Edit: Oh almost forgot I made alot of lasagna as well something I don't do often with how much goes into it, but it's sooo tasty. |

Eeee! Look at what Toxi had made for us! <3 Thank you again so much Toxi. <3 You know, I've never played Animal Crossing. Hee, and Yuichi, she's a cutie. Mr. Pooka feels silly trying to add in the 'nyan' at nearly the end of every few sentences or so, but I tend to say it for him because I can't resist. lol But she's supposed to talk all cutsie, neko-girl like. When the group went back to Edo period Japan Yuichi had the forethought to buy up parts of the Ginza (the high class/expensive part of Tokyo) so she would have the deeds for the future. It worked. She even wound up owning the part of the Ginza where her boss lives. O.o Sooo, one day Mr. Ito was joking about how he could fire her (he never would, it was a light humour jab.) So it went something like... Mr. Ito: You wouldn't want to get fired, would you? *chuckles* Yuichi: Do you want to get evicted? Mr. Ito: Wait, what? BTW, I templated that maid outfit.  If it gets turned into a maid class I'll need to give it a new hairstyle though. Maybe some sort of cute long pigtails. |
