I know there were a few people that wanted to see the crochet sunset blanket I was working on since November. Im not quite happy with it, but I think for now its done. Its huge and more long then it is square so you can wrap it up and wear it like a shoal if you wanted to. Not the best picture but it was a quick 'mom can you snap a picture of this' while she had her phone out so ^^' Appologies ahead of time if this is huge!  |

Thanks for fixing those Mr. Pooka! Although it looks like Marin’s shirt has popped back on to her mer version. 😅
Just trying to stay cool here. The latter part of this week we’re going to hit the 100’s. I’m already dying. -lol- Hasn’t been a typical summer in the least. Hoping to head up the mountain this weekend to get away from the scorch.

Our summer here has been surprisingly not so rainy. I'm happy about it... but also bummed? I love summer rain. It reminds me of a childhood reading on rainy days and observing lush greenery. Anyways, still humid as hell down here >,<

I hope your mountain trip is cool (both literally and figuratively!) Cam! I'd so very love to drive that far west again...
Oh and how we could use some rain up here! It's a million degrees (give or take?) and we haven't had rain in way to long everything is bone dry. I'm also a super fan of summer rain, (-8 and beside cooling things down I've been keeping my eye on all the wildfires popping up in our area... a part of me wishes I never learned about the Ontario Wildfire map, its a bit paranoia inducing!
Mostly its just been a lingering and unrelenting heat wave in our area... it makes everything take 5 times the effort! ...but I'm hoping to get my camera back out into the woods soon!
