It will be 100% helpful to get out of the concrete jungle and enjoy the cool air at 10k feet elevation. Not looking forward to the mosquitoes, but we will see what conditions are like. ^^
Rain would also be much appreciated here! Looking to be in the 100s for too long to mention, and we haven’t even hit August which is typically the hottest month. That coupled with the elevation spells only sun burn season. XD

The last time we drove through and camped in the Rockies I don't think we saw any mosquitoes, maybe we got lucky! ...though we did get some snow on a nice warm afternoon... mountain weather is fun, (-8

The mosquitos aren’t typically bad in this area during the fall time after the heat kills them all off. Though I would guess the further you head up mountain the sparser they get. The Grand Mesa meat where I live had over 300 lakes and unfortunately is the perfect breeding ground. >.<
