Squee! Okay, so back on a comp but I was just struck how the cross over of Egyptian and Steampunk themes reminded me of Beats Antique's Egyptic. I've got running on a playlist with a few other songs to get me into the creative mood ^^

~A lone greek sphinx, with what seemed to be a dog carried upon her back, swooped from the main airship into view. As she neared the clicking and tick-tocking noises that came from her was apparent, as well as the source. Those strange wings, which stopped clicking when she landed. But, the noise continued from her strange, metal dog that leaped from her back onto the ground.~  Tameere: Perry, did you explain the situation? It seems as if you did I... ~she notices his tail but averts her eyes quickly hoping he didn't catch that~ I think.. that it may be a good idea to bring some of these fine sphinxes onto the main ship... let them have a look around. This must all be so very overwhelming, they need a moment to see what wonders we hold. Then they can see what we have to offer before we start grilling them about what they have. Sky Dreamer: Ah, yes, fantastic idea. I'll ferry up a few sphinxes who wish to have a cursory look around S.T.E.A.M.. ~With that Sky Dreamer motions towards the rope ladder that leads up onto her ship~ I can take a handful of you. Tameere: Fabulous! I'll introduce them to a few of our sphinxes while they're taking a tour. ((OOC: This is a semi-RP pre-set up for a game.  I'll be doing a franken in a bit after a few descriptions for RP background.)) ((ETA: I forgot to mention, her wings and dog are templated up open for use. ^_^)) |

((Whoa...  )) Kemat narrowed her eyes at the rope ladder. She didn't like heights. She was used to being underground or in graveyards in the middle of the night. Some strange sky vessel in the bright daylight did not appeal to her, but... they had to at least have a better shovel with all their metal clinkings. She had broken hers the night before, and Setka could only do so much. If she was lucky, perhaps they would have some "interesting" potions for her to try out and possibly modify for her own purposes. She sent her loyal companion back to her home first and then turned to the strangers. "I shall go," she stated firmly before approaching. |
