We were supposed to pick Tai up on Thursday, but we had a bit of a scare with our parents. We couldn't get ahold of them, which is usually a REALLY bad sign. And when we showed up at the vet's they had a medical emergency. Someone had passed out probably because it's been near 100 degrees here for days, so we were waiting for a while. With not knowing what was happening with our parents, we asked if they would mind keeping him over the weekend for us since he needed to be walked every three hours or so due to the UTI. So, we've been pupperless the last several days, and I miss his fuzzy face so much! Hopefully, we'll be able to pick him up after work tomorrow. I called them yesterday to check on him, and he seems to be doing better. The vet had said she'd never seen a dog that was turning green like that, which was not comforting. As far as my parents are concerned, it turned out that their phone had freaked out for some reason. Rasa drove down there to check on them and wound up unplugging it from the wall to reset it.

We had a scare with Gizmo the other day. Hes ok (the king butt moved and got a good chunk of nail--with a good chunk of quick removed) but now it makes me wonder how we are going to trim his nails. His back ones have always been long but the quick has always been at the edge and doesn't recede no matter what we do.

I'm having major surgery tomorrow around 8 I think. I have to be there for 7,so I'm guessing 8. The mass is nearly the size of a grapefruit. So wish me luck! This is a scary one.

Good luck, Pooka! Sending lots of happy, healthy vibes your way!
Tai is back home and on tons of medications at the moment, but he seems to be doing much better even if he is being a brat about taking all the medicine and eating his regular dry dog food. I think they were giving him wet food at the vet.

The doctor thinks it's benign!!! Yay!! I'll know for sure in 3 weeks, but initially it seems to be a leftover from my endometriosis.
this is very good news.

That's great to hear Pooka!!
I've been a little silent here. Saturday I finished up my last shift at work and was surprised with some goodies from a couple of co-workers and the district manager. I got a cake, 6 pack of cupcakes, pack of brownie bites, Harry Potter themed Hershey's chocolate bars, two cards and a pair of gray socks with peace signs(a little gag gift from the one manager). Our district manager was trying so hard not to cry when she was telling me how much she was going to miss me, that the store won't be the same without me there and thanked me for the years of hard work and devotion, that I was one of the best she had ever seen there. She nearly had me in tears.
Hope everyone is doing well though and hope this heat settles down soon so we can enjoy the rest of the year.
