I'm glad to hear that things are finally moving more forward Pooka! It's a bummer they couldn't get you in sooner, with the mass causing you pain like that. Hopefully the month will pass by quickly and they can get it taken care of for you. <3

They took x rays yesterday (that was fun. Move this arm that makes the pain flare up and dont move >> Atleast the technitian was no bs get it done in and out quick). Didnt think it was fractured but I have a history/family history and osteopenia so he wanted to make sure.

Well, it's good that it's not fractured but doesn't really explain the problem. :/

Hope everyone is doing well. Sending good, happy, healing vibes and warm hugs to everyone that needs them.
On my end, it's getting closer to me handing in my two weeks notice for work and...I am going to be so glad when I get out. We have a new general manager and she is either going to make the store good or it's going to crash and burn and she's going to have a mutiny on her hands. The new schedule for this coming week was put out on Friday and she had my schedule completely wrong. My schedule is 9am to 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays off, Fridays and Saturdays 9am to 3pm...with the exception of this Saturday I requested to be out at 2. What does she have me as? Monday and Tuesday 9am to 4pm, Thursday 9am to 5pm, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. Okay, completely wrong. I talked with her Saturday and politely told her my schedule was wrong. When she asked what it should be, I told her and she asked if it was a set schedule and when I said it has been for the past four years, she said 'well i don't do set schedules, I put you where I need you' and when I explained to her my situation that I lost my mother in May, I need my hours so I can save because I'm moving next month....all she did was roll her eyes and walk off. So she blacked me out for Thursday and so now I'm only working two days this coming week. She messed up other people's schedules as well. I contacted Jen, our district manager and told her what happened and what the new gm said and did. She got back to me with 'I am so sorry, I told her everyone's availability'. Later in the day, said new gm came up to me and asked me 'can you work Sunday?' and I said 'no, I have plans on Sunday, plans that I've had set for a month and a half now, just like I have plans on Thursday, ones that I've had set for a month now' and all I got was an eye roll from her and she turned and walked off. I politely said 'Thursdays and Sundays have always been my days off', she turned and said 'I don't do set schedules' and stormed off. Okay, wow. So you're going to mess with everyone's schedules without talking to them about it? You're not right lady if you think you're not going to have a mutiny on your hands. One of the other people she messed with happens to have a baby and she also only got two days this coming week. That's not going to help her out. So...yea...I will be happy to hand in my two weeks notice. So for right now, I am just taking my time and coasting to September. Come the 19th, I'm going to walk down to work with my letter in hand and i'm going to hand it to whatever manager is there....other than the general manager. The envelope is going to have Jen's name on it, this way it goes directly to her.
Other than that, i'm doing okay, having to work on packing more.

Sorry to hear that, AoM. Changes in leadership can be frustrating.
Tai went in for surgery today on his back left leg. Everything should be just fine, but I'm still a bit anxious about him.

Operetta , How did the surgery turn out?

He came through surgery alright, but this first week has been terrible. He's not crate trained but has to stay in a crate for his own safety. He absolutely HATES it. So, when we try to get him back into the crate after walking him, he'll just refuse to stand up and then drag his feet. I'm worried he's going to injure himself. He also paces inside it a lot, so we're having to give him anxiety medication to help. He's now constipated and keeps peeing on himself and the crate repeatedly. We're having to do two or three loads of laundry a day to wash his towels and lick sleeves. This has led to his underside being completely irritated and his bandage getting wet. So, I have to call the vet first thing in the morning to see if they can see him again even though he's not scheduled to go back until the 28th to get his stitches taken out. He's distressed, and we are, too, at this point. Just a rough week. Worst comes to worst, they may have to keep him until the stiches come out. It would be really expensive, but at least, he would get the care he needs. Total recovery time is six to eight weeks, and he has to be crated while we are at work. So, I'm just at a loss for what to do for him at this point.
How are things going for you, Pooka?

Does he have an absolute favourite toy? That might be one way to encourage him. Positive things = positive things. Poor pup though Things have been nuts here. A bunch of health realted things for me but also for my dad and sister. Some bs dad is going through reguarding my late nonnas estate. Just a bunch of things piled up ontop0 of each other. Pups go in for thier yearly tomoorw at 9am. Its far in the countryside, atleast 30 minutes down the hiway. Advantage here is we get to go get frech produce afterwards >> But its a bit of a drive. It looks like its going to rain on our anniversary. Im bummed out because we go to the beach on that day each year.

Tai doesn't actually play with toys. He's too lazy for that. LOL. The only one he's even touched in the last decade is a squeaky ball, and I wouldn't want him to trip on it. He's going back to the vet tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have a UTI.

Poor Tai! I sounds like both him and you guys are going through some rough times. My surgery is on the 30th and I'm nervous as all get out. We have to drive out on the early morning of the 29th since my pre-op meeting is at 12:45 and it's a 5 hour drive from here. O.o

Thanks, wolfy! And sorry, Pooka! I realized you had already said that. I just can't keep anything straight right now. I still hope that you are well as can be. Anxiety is absolutely horrible to deal with.
Tai went to the vet this morning. His knee is doing well, but because of all the accidents he has had, his skin is burned. He now has a skin infection, which explains why he was strangely turning green. We thought it was dye from something. He does have a UTI, and they are going to keep him overnight.
EDIT: They also want to talk to us about day boarding since Rasa and I aren't at home much due to work and caring for our parents.

Oh geeze, Tobi (and you guys) are really going through something rough. How is he doing now? An infection turning green is really scary. O.O I hope everything is okay.
