Not sure how active or talkative I'll be today. It's the one year mark of my Mom's passing and I've already had a few tear attacks. I'll be going out with my Dad and Cheryleen later for dinner at a place they frequent most Friday nights. It's a nice Italian place. we sit at the bar and enjoy. The owners are nice, fun to talk with. Not sure how talkative I'll be, but I'll be there. I'm also trying to not throw my remote at the tv whenever a life insurance commercial comes on. I'll make it, but it's going to be a hard day.

We lost my Evie today.

My best girl, my ride-or-die dog. She just turned 10 in January. She was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer recently, and today she decided she was done.

I'm so heartbroken. She was such a big inspiration for me, my photography muse, and I'm just distraught. We knew we'd lose her soon but they told us she wouldn't pass naturally. Well, today she did. On her own terms.
