Ruins of Hawara Village
We are in the middle of an emergency and need your help. One of our flying ships, the Brass Swallow which is a smaller scouting vessel, akin to a schooner with large brass steering wings and three distinct balloons, has gone down. It's crew was supposed to be exploring the nearby ruins of an old village the locals called Hawara. I don't know much about the place myself yet, but perhaps the locals are familiar with its history or dangers.
Here is a map of the place that was provided by a local ranger. It is not to far from the city of Ahket, even on foot but I've already chartered a flight for you to save some time!
Arriving at the ruins of the old village leaves both local Sphinx helpers and S.T.E.A.M. a bit mystified by it's abandonment. While most of the buildings have obviously been long vacant there was a lovely natural spring and the village was greener then many similar. Overgrown fruit and shade trees were abundant and papyrus grew along the spring's edge. It wasn't until the first of you begin your search that you notice the quiet... no birds and few insects... and even the wind itself seemed to stop near the site. There was a feeling about the place that didn't sit well...

Grid Search of Hawara Ruins!
In order to play this game you must first make a roleplaying post in this thread with (at least) one of your Sphinxes describing them volunteering to help in the search.
There are no dangers in this game and you are welcome to continue your roleplaying posts as we search (and there will be a few RP notes as we go) but only the first is a strict requirement. You may also make additional RP posts any time in this thread, (-8
After your roleplaying post you may begin searching the Grid. (there doesn't have to be a logical rhyme or rhythm to the actual game choices you pick.) Simply post the coordinates you'd like to search, a Number and a Letter. (Helpful Hint, I didn't place anything under the map's Legend.) You may make one guess every hour, starting after 5:00. (One guess per clock hour, not post hour, so one at 6:59 and the next at 7:01 is fine). This game is open from 5:00 to Midnight tonight, but if there are still things to be found we will continue again tomorrow.
Like all fun grid searches, there are some prizes to be found! Along with the prizes I'll also be adding a few RP spots that only have some extra information about the place...
EDIT: I forgot to add this part... for the first hour of this game, feel free to take a second guess if your EXACT coordinates happened to be picked above you. After the first hour there is no second guesses and unfortunately you might miss a turn if you guess the same as someone else. (as these types of games go on, it just gets to be to much work to keep track as well as the potential for mistakes just grows...)
--------------------------------------------
Searching may be resumed! Day 2 at 2:00 PM. ...if there still happens to be prizes left we will stop today at midnight again.
