I'm afraid to say, this is not the first time we've encountered serpent people trying to sabotage our endeavors. I have also seen that symbol before as well, but do not know its meaning. Never in the past have we got so close to capturing some of them. Hummm, seeing how quickly you rose the challenge and charged into help with this rescue mission I feel I can trust you with this... Often times when we find a new site that is rich in artifacts, the types of ancient tools and machines that most of our technology is built upon, we find these Serpents, or at least the signs that they have been there. From hidden mountain cites to the far east and even deep under the sea, their sign seems to be everywhere. They do not talk to us, the cannot be bargained with. They either harry us or fade away... often at a dear cost. I am excited at the prospect of asking these ones some hard questions and hopefully we can get some more information about their means, methods, reasons... what do the do, what do they want... just who are they?
I think over the next couple of days we'll know more... If anyone else learns any information on these creatures in the meantime please keep us informed!
Also, in my rush of excitement I forgot to thank you all for your good work. I truly appreciate it and will not forget your help and assistance. Good job!

There will be more about the Serpent People coming up... but for our winners tonight I'll add a couple of roleplaying notes. The Serpent People usually have a natural power to disguise themselves with Illusion. Some can create clothing and some use disguises to add to their illusions. Their serpent forms are their natural form and the alt form is their illusory disguise!
...and like every prize from tonight's game, the RP flavour was just for this game. You are super welcome to use this as a jumping off point or totally change things up to suit your own roleplays and backgrounds, (-8
